Hello! My name is Gizem, and I live in Worthing (BN11). I'm a caring, reliable and responsible person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals.

Although my professional background is in archaeology, I previously worked for around 3–4 years as a self-employed childcare provider and was an Ofsted-registered Childminder. Looking after children taught me patience, responsibility, excellent communication and the importance of following routines—skills that are just as valuable when caring for pets.

I currently have a lovely pet budgie, who has been part of my family for several years. Caring for my own pet has taught me that every animal has its own personality, routine and individual needs. I believe pets deserve kindness, patience and lots of attention while their owners are away.

What I offer

I mainly provide home visits for cats and friendly small to medium-sized dogs. During each visit, I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, clean litter trays or feeding areas if needed, plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles (if they enjoy them!) and companionship. I'm also happy to administer simple oral medication if clear instructions are provided.

For dogs, I'm available for 30 to 60-minute walks, depending on your dog's age, fitness level and routine. I usually offer up to 2–3 walks per day if required. I always prefer to keep dogs on their usual routine and will happily follow any instructions regarding walking routes, feeding times or exercise.

As I don't currently drive, I focus on providing reliable services within BN11 and nearby areas that I can comfortably reach on foot or by public transport. This allows me to arrive on time and provide dependable care without overcommitting.

I'm most comfortable caring for cats and friendly small to medium-sized dogs. At the moment, I don't accept large or very strong dogs, simply because I want to ensure I can safely manage every walk and provide the best possible care.

After every visit or walk, I'm happy to send photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and well cared for.

My aim is always to make your pet feel comfortable, loved and secure while you're away. I understand how important trust is when choosing someone to care for a member of your family, and I will always treat your pets with the same kindness and respect that I give my own.
