Hi! I’m Tomi, a university student based in York who genuinely loves spending time with animals. I recently lost my own dog, and would really like to be able to interact with other pets! I’ve grown up around pets and have always enjoyed caring for and looking after them, so dog walking is something I’m really happy to do alongside my studies. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can feel like a big responsibility, so I want every owner to feel confident that their dog is being properly looked after.

I offer a friendly, attentive care for all pets. I understand that every dog has their own routine and personality, so I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking, sleeping and medication routines as closely as possible.

For walking, you can expect a standard 30 minutes walk, or an extended 60 minute walk for a small additional price! If you would like longer walks, I can also do that with prior arrangements. I am happy to do a range of speeds depending on the breed/age of the dog as well, so just let me know what their preferences are!

Safety is very important to me. I will always make sure doors and gates are properly secured and that dogs are supervised when outside. I would also keep dogs on a lead unless I have the owner’s permission and am confident that the location and circumstances are appropriate. I’m happy to discuss recall, reactivity, separation anxiety, dietary requirements or any other important details before a booking.

I’m most comfortable caring for friendly, well-socialised dogs. Before accepting a longer booking, I’d be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can make sure both you and your dog are comfortable with me and my home.

Throughout the stay, I’ll keep you updated and can send photos and messages so you know your dog is happy and settled.
