As a dedicated cat lover, I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family members in someone else’s care. I am a proud owner of two wonderful indoor cats, both of whom I have raised and cared for since they were tiny kittens. This hands-on experience has taught me how to handle cats of different personalities—from playful and energetic to shy and cautious. What you can expect from my visits: Fresh food and water: Clean bowls and strict adherence to dietary routines. Litter box maintenance: Kept spotlessly clean and disinfected as instructed. Playtime & Company: Interactive play with their favourite toys or calm, quiet companionship if they prefer their own space. Daily updates: High-quality photos and videos so you always know how your pet is doing. Safety & Home Security: Extra care to ensure doors and windows remain secure during indoor visits. Visit Duration & Availability: Visit Duration: Standard drop-in visits last 30 to 45 minutes, ensuring your cat gets plenty of dedicated attention without feeling rushed. Longer visits (up to 1 hour) are also available upon request. Availability: Flexible throughout the week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Handling Emergencies & Urgent Situations: Clear Communication First: Before your trip, I will take down your primary vet’s details, emergency contact numbers, and any medical history. Immediate Action: If your cat appears unwell, stops eating, or experiences an emergency, I will contact you immediately for instructions. Vet Transport: If immediate medical attention is needed and you are unreachable, I will take your cat straight to your registered vet (or the nearest 24/7 emergency veterinary clinic) using a secure carrier, keeping you updated every step of the way.
