About me

My name is Rachel, I'm 33 and would love to meet and care for your fur baby! I am experienced with caring for many different types of animals and grew up with the company of rescue dogs, a cat, fish and even two rats!

My husband and I are based in Malpas/Newport and both currently work for the Fire Service. We also have a fur baby of our own named Willow - she's a 6 year old Ragdoll X. We are also parents to two children.

What I love most about pet sitting is having the opportunity to meet pet owners and getting to know and earn the trust of their animals while at the same time putting your mind at ease while away. Rest assured I will send regular message and photo updates so you know how your pet is getting on.

I will also endeavour to accommodate any special requests that you might have. I know that during your absence your pet will be missing you very much so will always aim to help your animal feel as comfortable, happy and at ease as I can. :)

My services

Dog waking - I’ll come and take your dog for a walk for a minimum of 40 minutes. I can take them in my car to somewhere new perhaps with lots of space to run or stay closer to home around their familiar walking spots.
Charges - £12 (if you require a longer walk this can be accommodated and price will be changed to match).

Home visits - ***Due to recently having a baby I can only commit to x1 visit a day at this time.***

I come to feed, change litter and cuddle/play with your pet. I am also happy to water any plants or maintain anything else you may require around the home.
Charges - £ 12 per visit or £16 for two per day (30 minutes minimum)

My availability

If you are looking for a regular dog Walker or sitter for specific days a week, unfortunately I probably am not the right sitter for you.

Due to working shifts, my availability is never the same week to week. I do a rolling rotation of two 9 hour day shifts, two 15 hour night shifts and four days off. This does mean that I can be quite flexible and I have a lot of time off!

I am usually available to do house visits every day even on work days so long as you are happy they are before or after a shift.
