Hi there, I'm Lucia and I'm a wordsmith, so I mostly work from home. Before meeting my life partner, I had parrots, gold fish and white mice, who all lived a long and happy life - one of my parrots, inherited from my gran, lived over 30 years. Then, together with my partner, we rescued a beautiful, big, mixed-race dog and we took her home. That was back in Italy and when we moved to the UK, we got her a passport so as to join us; over the years, we also bought a converted van for her to be more comfy when travelling around. She loved travelling - camping was her favourite! - and she lived up to 17 years of age. When she left, six years ago, she chipped our heart and her ashes rest in our living room, which she loved. Clearly, my partner and I love animals - we looked after my cousin's cat for six months! - but we're still hurting and don't feel like adopting a pet in the forseeable future. So, we decided to help other pet carers and owners when they're away - dog walking, pets boarding, house sitting - since we found our favourite pet sitter on this very website! Our house has a front porch and a relatively big back garden. We'd host your pets indoor - unless you want them to sleep outside (where we also have a gazebo) - and they'd sleep in our room with us, either on the sofa or on the floor/mattress: up to you/them. Their bowls would be either in the kitchen or close to their bed, in our room, according to their/your preference.
