For many years I have been looking after family and friends pets in their own homes. As I do not have my own dog to fill the puppy shaped hole in my heart, I love getting the opportunity to look after other peoples pets. 

Oscar is my main man - he's the ginger-biscuit coloured dog on the beach and hiding in the duvet. He is my parents' dog, and an old boy these days at impressive age of 15! He needs a little extra special attention compared to my usual home sits due to meds and a special diet. He is not my only special dietary requirement case but perhaps my most demanding!

When looking after dogs during a homestay, I try to stick to the usual routine for food and walkies each day. I aim to take dogs out for two walks per day if it is not too hot for them (I am greatful to get my own legs moving after staring at a screen most of the day!).

I generally look after smaller and medium sized dogs however I do have a soft spot for well-behaved labs too! 

I am looking to pet-sit alongside my usual day job. I am hoping it gets me walking a little more as well as being more involved with my passion! For this reason, I am also looking to take only local jobs for now.

Please note, for home stays I ask that dogs are bathed/groomed before I stay when possible. This doesn't need to be a fancy trip to the groomers - this is simply to help in the height of allergy season to make sure I can give the most attention and cuddles possible!
