Growing up I cared for a King Charles Caliver Spaniel who was our family dog. Although I was a kid when we got him I helped feed him, play with him and walk him weekly if not daily. He lived until he was 15 when he sadly passed away. My Cocker Spaniel I adopted 4 years ago and with him I trained him, fed him, looked after him, took him to the vets, give him his meds he needs (he has bad skin and ear problems and constantly needs to have medication daily) as well as walking him twice a day.&nbsp;
Currently, my dog is living with my parents as my partner and I do our 3 year OE over in the UK.&nbsp;
I have house-sat and dog-sat for my friends dog when they went away on holiday for a week. Their dog was still quite young so I had to keep up with their training, especially crate training as the owners thought that was very important.


Upon purchasing our home just over 6 years ago, I started volunteering my free time to dog sit and walk within our vibrant new neighbourhood. During this period, my heart led me to adopt Patrick, a 15-month-old pup from Belfast. Life with a rescue was tough at the beginning, but completely worth it. I have always loved dogs and after 17 years in the corporate realm, I made a pivotal decision to transition my passion for dogs into my full-time job.
With a wealth of experience spanning various dog breeds and ages, I've handled dogs of all sizes and provided nurturing care to canines of diverse backgrounds. Additionally, I've recently expanded my services to include dog boarding, a venture that Patrick thoroughly enjoys as he loves having a buddy around. We are happy to board in our house. We don't have a garden but live between three parks, so lots of places to explore. 
While I do prioritise vaccinated dogs I care for, I'm also open to making exceptions to accommodate special circumstances.
To further enhance my expertise, I've completed rigorous courses in Canine Behavior and Puppy Training, ensuring that I provide the utmost care and guidance to every furry friend entrusted to my care. 
We have a 2 bedroom maisonette. It doesn't have a garden but we are located near a number of parks where I can walk your dog when in my care.&nbsp;

Walking Louie, the friendly bulldog, Prince, the elegant King Charles, and Duke, the energetic boxer, has been an amazing adventure. I'm the best fit for this because I truly care about them. Each dog is different, and I understand their needs and personalities.

Hello, Hello! I'm Jen and I have been pet sitting and dog walking for a few months now. I'm also a part time English Tutor and I'm really flexible time wise. I've always had cats in my life, once a horse, and more recently dogs as I inherited my parents golden retriever and then my daughter and her dog came to live with me for a few months. In addition I volunteered at a dog shelter for a year in Costa Rica. And I am now about to get my very own rescue dog from Romania! Exciting times!
I've always wanted to work with animals and now I am finally in a position where I can do just that!  I'm happy to stay over, pop in, groom, clean litter and feed and any other jobs required within reason!

Since childhod I've always been around pets. Dogs, cats, fish, rats (17 at one point!), mice, chickens - even a snake! First and foremost, I understand how they aren't just pets, they're part of the family - and how their wellbeing is crucial. My last dog and the one I have now were both rescue staffies, and that's taught me a huge amount about how their particular needs too.&nbsp;
My 'day job' is as a documentary producer and director - and I've been working in TV for just over 20 years -first at the BBC then freelance for a range of companies (and mostly for US broadcasters). I've lived in SE London for most of that time too. 
I'm contientious and caring and love being around animals. I will treat your pets as if they are my own - putting their needs first and making sure they're well cared for in your absence. I'm happy to undertake additional activities like feeding and giving medications (assuming you have those availale) and if you're away for a few days I don't mind cleaning out litter trays, or changing bedding etc and if there are little accidents I can clean those up too! I'm fine brushing your pet(s) too. Of course, there will be photo updates too!If I'm in your home I'm also happy to collect the post, water plants - I'm open to most things. I can also check around the house to make sure no one has tried to break in, make sure nothing has leaked etc. Also happy to take the bins out if it's bin day.&nbsp;
I usually prefer to hold a key - but if there's some other arrangement you'd prefer then let me know. I'm very security conscious too. Broadly speaking I don't do 'part hours' unless it's something like a multi-visit deal (e.g. coming twice a day just to feed).&nbsp;
**DURATION OF WALKS**In terms of my time, it's charged base-to base ie: from leaving my home to returning again. I'm fair though, so if it's a few minutes over an hour then I'm not going to quibble. Usually I aim for walks of around 30 minutes but that can be increased/decreased as needed. You need to supply any leads, muzzles, treats etc. I'll have poo bags with me.
**DURATION OF HOME VISITS**If you simply need a cat feeding then it could be quite a brief visit, and we can work something out where two visits a day are just billed as an hour. But if you need a longer session - e.g. sitting with your pet for a few hours, then that's fine too. Basically I can be flexible. You need to provide any food, medications, litter for litter trays etc.&nbsp;
**AVAILABILITY**As I'm a freelancer, my availability varies - but generally I'm around a lot and often work from home. The best thing to do is to get in touch and we can take it from there.&nbsp;
I'm happy to provide a copy of my ID if needed. I don't offer services in my home.

For cat visits I'll spend at least 30 minutes with your cat (happy to discuss if you need longer) and will leave fresh water, fresh food and clear the litter.&nbsp;
Dog walks will be between 40-60 minutes (depending on the needs of your dog) and happy to be guided by you if your dog has a favourite park, or we can go where I know too.&nbsp;
Alongside your pets, I can also help care for the other living things in your house... those plants! If you need watering / mail collection / other little bits doing whilst you're away, just let me know.&nbsp;
