As a former IT professional turned full-time stay-at-home dog parent and my husband Bala a software consultant who is working from home, our journey into the world of animal care has been deeply rooted in a lifelong love for animals. Growing up, I cherished every moment spent surrounded by pets, fostering a strong connection and understanding of their needs. Hello everyone &nbsp;I'm Ailsa and I'm a Glasgow based creative. I mostly work from my home with a flexible schedule so have plenty of time to devote to furry friends.I'm based in G42 but I am happy to travel via public transport/bicycle to suit your needs when I can. My home is perfectly situated for a variety of walks with Queens, Govanhill and Cathkin Park all within 10 min walking distance.&nbsp;I have an 8 year old dog named Alfie who is a typical pug with lots of character. He may make a lot of snuffly noises but he is very friendly and makes for a great companion to put your dog at ease while they are away from home.&nbsp;For boarding your dog would be the only pet in the home with myself and Alfie at any given time. I really want dogs to have a home away from home experince so they will get lots of cuddles and attention, and the full run of my flat - including the sofa and bed if they are allowed! During their stay I can provide regular photo updates if you want to keep up to date with their antics!For dog walking, Alfie could keep your dog company or your dog can be the only dog on the walk at your request.Over the years I have had many pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and gerbils, but love all animals. I love to be outdoors so am keen to add some additional walks to my current schedule.&nbsp;I live alone in a top floor tenement flat with an enclosed patioed area shared with the other members of the building. I used this space daily so make sure it's kept clean and tidy. I have plenty of dog beds and a medium sized fabric crate should it be needed.&nbsp;Please reach out to discuss any additional requirements. My background and reasons for providing these services:After I left my full-time position in healthcare due to my disability and continuous work related stress so I've decided to do what I actually like plus still do something that could help others (like parents of fluffy ones who deserve their vacation without being worried about them!). I have always been a huge pet lover and I always wanted to work with pets. So after leaving my healthcare job I started doings things that actually give me joy; and looking after all kinds of pets is definitely something that was my dream since I was a child!&nbsp;&nbsp;I'm also happy to schedule last minute bookings so feel free to request your preferred days and services. Each day spent with your little one, I'll be sending you updates with photos/ videos included so that you can be sure that your kid is not stressed and feeling happy while you're away.&nbsp;&nbsp;

I live with my husband and our 4 cats and 4 ferrets in a 4-bedroom house. We have 4 bedrooms, a big back garden and a small front garden.&nbsp;

When requesting home visits- 
I can visit your pet as many times as you need during the day or night and stay with your pet from 30 mins up to 3 hours at a time. During this time, you can request any additional tasks such as walking outside (fordogs), cleaning litter (for cats), grooming or any other activity that is needed for your pet (feeding and playing are always included per visit). When requesting to stay at your home, I will be present at all times. I would only request additional payment for mileage if you're staying more than 20 miles away from me. The payment is fully negotiate.&nbsp;

If you need a long visit (min 4 hours), please let me know in advance. 
Administering oral medication can be done on request.&nbsp;



Picking up your dog for walks:&nbsp;
Dog walking can be requested from 30 mins and up to 2.5 hours and as many times a day as needed. I am insured for pet transportation via my car and I can pick up your dog whenever is needed. If you need me to walk your dog multiple times per the same day (for example if you are working a full day), I can take your dog to my home for a day and walk with them when requested (9am + 12pm + 3pm + 6pm etc).&nbsp;

I am a full-time student at UCD (I'm studying to become a librarian), and I'm looking to get a few pet-sitting/dog-walking jobs for some extra pocket money and so I can spend time with animals, which is always lovely! I have no pets of my own at the moment. I've had cats in the past, but I do also really love dogs - I am currently minding a beautiful, rambunctious Irish red setter. My last cat, Merlin,  was spoiled rotten and basically owned the house! Ideally, I'd love to have a cat and dog of my own one day, maybe a few fish too.
As I am a full-time student, pet-sitting is an excellent option for me. If I mind your pet, they are guaranteed to have my full-attention and love.&nbsp;
I won't have pets in my own home ( it's a rented property) but I can mind pets in other people's homes for short and long term duration. I do need pets to have been vaccinated (eg, no feral cats).&nbsp;
I can walk pets, feed them etc, that's no problem. I am happy to water plants and perform necessary/urgent household tasks. I do need to know if there is more than one pet or if your pet has health issues so I can modify how I mind them :) I'd preferably find some pet minding jobs in my neighbourhood or in the UCD area. However, as I cycle everywhere, I'm happy to cycle a little further afield.&nbsp;


Hello! I was brought up around pets living in a remote and rural area growing up. I then moved to the big city (Its really wonderful really and for pets!!) Since then, I have adopted 2 house cats (one Maine Coone and one Bengal so you can only image the riots that take place here!) They are both content and happy with their life here (i assume they are anyway as one cuddles into me typing this) (If only they could talk!). 
I initially enquired to this site to search for a catsitter every now and then for when I go away on holiday or overnights and I thought 'Why am i not signed up for this?'. 
I now would like to return the favour by offering my help and service if and when I can. Although I am primarily a cat owner, I am more than able and willing/available to dog walk for owners if needed as I love meeting new dogs and getting to know them.

I am cIty centre based, ideal for those who are working and/or away on holiday. I am also available to pop over to feed pets too. I can also complete other tasks for you while I am home visiting such as feeding plants &amp; taking in mail. This can be anything from a quick pop in to feed your pet, replenish water ect to playing with them for a wee while &amp; keep them company, brushing them ect, just ask!

About me: I live in Hillhead, Glasgow and have my own 4-year-old toy poodle. He is a very friendly active dog and we are always out on walks. Romper loves spending time with other dogs so thought if we're already out 2-3 times a day, why not have a few dogs join us! I have led group walks before with multiple dogs and have always been around dogs since our first family pet, a German Shepard, when I was two years old. I love being around animals and would be very happy to come take your dog out with us. 
I have a current Canine First Aid Certification (Level 2).
My availability: I work flexibly from home so am available most days and times.

Hi everyone! My name is Joe and my partner is Hannah, We live together in Glasgow with our 1 and a half year old toy schnoodle Fintan. We absolutely love dogs, and love having more than 1 dog in our house. Our own dog, Fintan, is very friendly with other dogs, and he will help to provide your dog with entertainment. We both work from home, so we will be at the house 24/7 with your dog, making sure to give them the care and attention that they deserve. We will also bring your dog(s) for plenty of walks during the day, and we have a back garden where they can run around and play, as well as go to the toilet. There is plenty of couch space and blankets for them to curl up and sleep, or we have an assortment of dog toys if this is what they fancy. We will also make sure to stick with their feeding schedule.

I have always been an animal lover, having grown up with dogs all my life and having worked at a refuge for cats and dogs in Greece run by my uncle. I have a natural affinity with animals and am very patient and caring. Having lifelong experience of looking after dogs, I am able to keep control of them during walks without resorting to shouting, and am very aware of the specific needs of different types of dog, whether that be lengths of walks or quantities of food. I have also looked after friends' cats while they've been away, and love to play with them and keep them company! I am currently unable to look after pets in my flat as my flatmates suffer from allergies, and so I would love the chance to walk, look after and hang out with dogs and cats whenever possible. cats and dogs of all dispositions welcome!
