I have been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with dogs, cats and small animals including guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters. I'm lucky to have my own 6 year old male cocker spaniel (neutered) who I adore. I live alone in Wargrave. I love walking my own dog, and have a flexible job (working from home Mon-Fri) which allows me the time to offer dog walking and pet sitting/feeding services. I am happy to board dogs (1 at a time) at my house who are well behaved and house trained and would be happy to have the company of my spaniel, who is very sociable and well-behaved.  I have a medium sized garden that is fully enclosed. My dog is fully vaccinated, including Kennnel cough and would only accept vaccinated pets in my home. 
I offer the following services:

dog walking- I walk my dog in the morning (45 mins) and in the afternoon (30 mins) in the countryside around Wargrave. I would ensure your dog is kept on the lead at all times. Ideally you would drop your dog off with me, otherwise I could pick up within 5 miles of Wargrave.&nbsp;
dog sitting in my home- your dog would sleep downstairs and would have access to the downstairs of the house as well as the enclosed garden. I would be present at all times.&nbsp;
pet feeding services- happy to travel up to 5 miles from Wargrave.

I treat all my client's pets as my own and I will ensure their safety is a priority at all times. I am responsible and reliable and will ensure that you feel comfortable leaving your pet in my care. I would ask you to leave details of your vets with me in case of an emergency. 



Both my husband and I are dog lovers. We have a cockapoo called Ruby she is 3yrs 8months She is not yet spayed. Ruby had a planned litter last year so we have had time out from having pet house guests. Ruby is now back to her usual hospitable self and enjoys having a friend to play with.We have owned a dog most of our lives. We had an Irish Terrier from puppy who we lost when nearly 15yrs. We were lost without her. Several months later we decided to have another, then Ruby joined our family at 8 weeks. She is adorable, sociable and playful. She is a big part of our family. At home it’s just my husband and I, though we have 3 grandchildren 1yr, 5yrs and 7yrs who visit often and who absolutely adore her and Ruby adores them too, and very gentle with them.I work from home, and available to attend to the care of your precious pet weekdays and weekends. We do not allow Ruby in the bedrooms and she is very obedient. This is to allow my grandchildren and Ruby some time away from each other as children can be very full on!!Ruby always sleeps very soundly after a visit :)Our garden is well fenced and safe and allows for quick toilet relief. Surrounded by woodlands for many long walks and a few mins drive from Hughenden Park, and also like to drive to the coast. Of course that depends if your pooch is happy to travel in a car? If your pooch is nervous of traffic, main roads can easily be avoided as we live on a quiet road.I am comfortable to administer medication should your needs require..Our Ruby is sociable with other dogs and enjoys a good chase in the park. When in doors she loves playing with her squeaky toys and tug of war.I believe our pets deserve the best care possible and rest assured that your pooch will definitely be treated like one of our own, with lots of affection and attention.
Please note I unable to take large dogs, only medium up to 12kg or small.
Also please note my fees during school holidays are 25% higher.

I have been a dog lover my whole life! I'm lucky that my family have 4 dogs, a border collie, canaan, white Swiss shepherd and a German shepherd. I have looked after my brothers German shepherd for 2 years (every week) as he grew up from puppy to adult and we have formed a solid bond. I can work with reactive dogs or dogs of any temperament. I can also continue to work on training if needs be. Can give plenty of cuddles or be hands off. I am currently taking a course on animal communication. I am very instinctive with animals and know if they need something. I have a very caring nature and dogs really are one of life's greatest gifts! I am a big walker and love taking in nature with a dog buddy along side! I have a flexible working life, working from home 2 days a week, so I can dog sit or walk on those days. I can also dog sit or walk on weekends too. Local to Wokingham but can travel 15 mins out if needs be.I also have experience with parrots and cats, a big animal lover in general so can house sit for other animals too.I'm happy to administer medication or injections if shown how to. I also study Reiki so can even give your pet a Reiki session!I am physically fit and can handle dogs that pull on lead.&nbsp;

PLEASE NOTE - BOARDING REQUIREMENTS (our house)&nbsp;
- Please note - we have a caged parrot, who is used to dogs, however an initial meeting would be required to gauge whether your dog is reactive to him.

I won't be able to board dogs at my house who are the following:
- Not house trained&nbsp;
- Chew furniture or who are destructive
- Dig up the garden
- Bark a lot - we have attached neighbours so are very conscious of noise
- Are reactive to our caged parrot&nbsp;
- Need to sleep on the bed - we don't allow dogs on the bed - they are allowed in the bedroom if they're generally settled at night.
- If your dog is particularly young and demanding of attention please let me know - if it is on a day that I need to work from home this may not work out. I have looked after a few puppies but it depends on their temperament.&nbsp;


I have always loved dogs (and all animals) from a very young age and grew up around dogs. Having had dogs for many years I know it can be hard to leave them and finding people you trust to look after them for the time you are away. Now I work from home I can finally fulfil one of my own dreams of looking after all dogs of different breeds, shapes and sizes, whilst helping out people in what I hope they believe is trustworthy environment and person who can care for them, as they were still at home.
I have had dogs for over 25 years now, some rescue and a few from puppy so my experience is fairly vast across a wide range. I have also always looked after family and friends dogs when they were away so already have a number of years experience in dog care, that are not my own.  These include dogs who have had to have special ongoing medication.
I work from home so your dog will have no to very little time on their own. My wife also does so even if one of us has to go out there is a high chance someone will still be in. We also have two dogs who are friendly and very good with other dogs, so your dog should never feel alone or anxious. 
We live in a very well connected area for walks, whether it on the lead on safe circuits or five minutes from South Hill, Swinley Woods and the Lookout. Due to the nature of my flexible hours I can offer morning, afternoon and/or evening walks. Weekends for boarding are not usually an issue.
I am well routined (for my own work) at home which caters to the dogs needs excellently, also loving routine. We walk in the mornings and feed and them again in the afternoon / evening (weather permitting and not too hot in summer months).
I have a 60-70 foot long garden which the dogs love to play in and extra playtime (or instead of a walk for dogs anxious going out with people they do not know) is no problem at all, coupled with working from home and flexible working hours. The garden is completely fenced and there are no routes for escape. We do also have a large kennel (with in and outdoor sections) for any dogs who may need to feel safe in an enclosed environment.
Inside the house we have dog beds (and a chair) in the main rooms for their comfort, rather than having to sit on hard floors all the time.
