"Charly was a fantastic sitter for Lupa. She clearly loves animals and wants them to be happy. Lupa was a bit sad at the start of our time away so she took her to the pet shop for a treat!! She kept in contact every day with news of what they had been up to and this really put our minds at rest. Lupa is a bit nervous in some situations and Charly really listened and took care of her as I do. Will definitely book again and highly recommend. See you next time Charly!"

"We were going away and had dog care arranged through a family member, however one week before our holiday, we were let down. I googled many local dog boarding places but as you can imagine a week before they were fully booked. I then stumbled across pawshake and so signed up.
I found Sinèad, she seemed like a real animal lover from her profile and she was available, plus only a 5 minute drive away - perfect.
We arranged a meet and greet - Sinead was very pleasant, answered our questions and asked us about our rules regarding our dog on furniture etc - because she liked the home from home experience and happy for him to fully roam around.
Sinead confirmed she'd be happy to look after our dog but I didn't feel pressured to book with her.
I booked a 5 night stay and we had family either side. We explained to Sinead that family would do the drop off and collection which wasn't a problem.
The stay itself - Sinead sent photos and messaged to confirm his arrival and sent daily photos throughout his stay.
Many of the photos we're taken inside and one outside on a walk. Our dog was wearing his harness in most photos - but Sinead explained she did take it off but helped with toileting and opening her door etc. It was nothing major but an observation we had.
Sinead told us that Toby had settled well and often told us he was being good (he's a 2 year old cocker spaniel so he can often be a bit cheeky and playful so I worried someone else may find him too naughty)
We had never left him with anyone outside of family or friends, so I was very anxious about leaving him in a strange place and new person. It is difficult to know fully from photos alone, and it would have helped my nerves abit more if we had some added communication regarding his walks or general day to day play, but on the whole he did seem to be settled and made himself comfy on the sofa.
Collection was as agreed and Sinead messaged to confirm that Toby had been collected and also mentioned his food was running low, which was fine as I'd only given enough for his stay. Sinèad also kindly offered to drop round his dog bed the following day, as my sister had her little one and doesn't drive and thought it would be easier.
Overall, our first dog care experience was easy to book, straightforward with tracked communication and a pleasant experience.
Would I use Sinèad again - yes.

"I left my elderly Springer Spaniel with Claire for 5 nights for the first time, in the new year. I have been really pleased with the whole service that Claire offers, right from the beginning Claire was very easy to communicate with, responding to my messages very promptly. Claire's home is very welcoming and friendly with a lovely warm atmosphere, you can tell immediately that the whole family loves dogs., there is a safe enclosed garden at the back of the house which isn't overlooked, so very secure. When I expressed my concerns over the Alabama Rot problem that seems to be on the increase, Claire was fully aware of the problem and didn't walk Coco anywhere muddy, which instantly put me at ease. She was conscientious about giving Coco her tablet every morning, and when I went to pick Coco up, I could tell straight away that I had a happy dog to come home to, which was brilliant! So thank-you Claire! I will be certainly booking Coco in with you again."

"My dog Winston stayed with Tracey & Simon for a week whilst we were on a family holiday. I can't thank them enough for doing such a great job with taking care of him. Always kept us posted with updates and pictures from their beautiful long walks together in the countryside where they live. He looked so happy and healthy.

"Very pleased with my two dogs recent overnigjt boarding with Ellice and Till. It was their first time away from home overnight, so I was very nervous! But my mind was put at ease after speaking with Ellice on the phone. She kept me updated with photos and updates and looked after them well. Although I can't imagine she would want to have my two again, as they can be a handful :) !!!"

"My nervous rescue girl had a fab time with Ihra by all accounts. He did a great job of giving her space to settle in, and this meant she felt comfortable enough for playtime, off lead walks, bed cuddles and mischief with the innards of toilet rolls! I suspect she had as good a holiday as we did…
Plenty of communication and well organised; wouldn’t hesitate to take my girl to Ihra for another holiday next time we go away and can’t take her 😊"

"Estef is a kind, caring, and trustworthy person who took amazing care of our dog Buddy, whilst we were away on holiday for 9 days. I could see how settled and happy Buddy was with her, and Estef kept me updated throughout the week with daily photos and updates. "Solange is great! Our spaniel, Ruben clearly had a really good time staying with her for a week. She sent lots of updates with photos and videos of our very happy dog on fun walks and crashed out afterwards. She was also very helpful and flexible when we were delayed coming home due to a flight cancellation. "Steve is absolutely amazing! My Bella just spent 6 days with him, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we dropped her off, I felt completely confident in Steve’s care.
