We are a 30 year old couple who are animal crazy, both growing up and being around animals from birth there is nothing we love more than surrounding ourselves with dogs! We are both experienced with hounds from puppies to older dogs with more needs!
We treat all dogs staying with us like they are part of our family. Our house is in a great central location and has a medium-sized back garden with grass which is completely enclosed with a fence and tall hedge so dogs can come and go as they please when they are relaxing during the day. Working from home means we are really flexible with pick-up and drop-off times and can keep dogs with their regular walking and feeding times. We will always send regular daily updates and photos so you can rest easy that your dog is having a great time!
Living a short distance from The Pentlands &amp; Portobello, means all our guests are treated to one or two 45-minute (or less if needed) walks throughout the day on grass or sand with lots of opportunities for good sniffs.
During a home visit or house sitting we will try and keep to your dog's (or other animals) routine as closely as we can with walks and feeding. Individual visits can be from 1 - 8 hours at a time depending on the needs of the animals, as I can bring my laptop and work from your home so I can spend quality time with all your pets. I can also be in to collect deliveries and water any plants while you're away.&nbsp;
If this is your dog's first time boarding with us, we will always make sure that it's the only dog so we can get to know each other properly and we can learn how they are with other dogs and understand their routine, only if you and another owner are happy will we board dogs together. We understand some dogs do need extra care or a calmer environment in older age whereas some dogs will love making new friends. There will only be a maximum of 2 dogs in the house at one time.

We ask you to provide any food, treats, bedding and toys that will make your dog feel really at home, it's also good for us to know if there are any training points you want me to work on during our stay e.g. toilet training, not letting them on the sofa or upstairs, lead walking and recall.

I love dogs and have grown up around them my whole life. My family had a German shepherd when I was a kid and I loved to help with his training. Some of my best memories as a kid were with him. 
My family currently have a husky who I've also spent lots of time with before I moved into my own place. I'll often go on long runs with Kobi when I'm back home visiting
I now have a cavapoo with my girlfriend. His name is Hamish and he is 2 years old.
I'm very used to looking after and training dogs and absolutely LOVE their company. Hamish is fantastic with other dogs. He is very sociable and is an official Therapet at the school I work in. He comes in every Tuesday and Friday to help children with additional support needs. Any dogs under my care will be well looked after and spoiled! They will also have a friend to play with- Hamish loves everyone and he's always looking to make new friends! He is extremely well natures and will be a positive influence on any other dog  Hamish is so well behaved, he even comes on bike rides with me, in his K9 sports backpack! Check out the pics!
I live in the Swanston area so there are plenty fantastic places to walk your dog. I also have an enclosed garden for them to chill outside under my supervision.
I am happy to transport your dog with Hamish to go on short or long walks at varied locations. We often take him to Inverleith park, orchard park, crammond beach, Hillend and reservoirs in the Pentland area to mix up the environments ️ ️  
I frequently visit my parents in Linlithgow to see our family dog Kobi. We often go big walks around Beecraigs country park. 
I'm flexible with where to go on walks. Hamish is an excellent walking buddy for your dog! He will be friends with anyone!

As an all round animal-lover I will provide an excellent service for you and your pet. I will give your pet all the love and care they deserve whilst you are away. 
As a second year English Literature student at the University of Edinburgh, pet sitting would provide a perfect job for me to help out people in the City. Being away from my own dog and missing him like crazy, by looking after your pet I would be able to feel that happiness of connecting with animals again! 
I have owned many cats in the past and now have a 2 year old lurcher (whippet and Labrador cross) called Timo. He is featured in most of my photos. I primarily trained Timo and was his main caregiver before coming to University, so I have lots of experience in setting boundaries with dogs as well as giving them all the love and fuss they deserve. Timo is a highly energetic dog who needs a lot of discipline which means I am experienced in dealing with bouncy and lively dogs who are sometimes in need of a firm hand. I seriously miss my (very elderly) cats, Fifi and Webster, who I have had all my life. 
As well as looking after my own animals, I have pet sat for some of my neighbours back home as well as looking after my boyfriend's dog, Arlo, regularly. He is also pictured above. Therefore I believe I have the skills and experience with animals for you to trust me with your pets.
I would care for pets of all ages and breeds and make sure I put effort into really getting to know each individual animal. Some of my favourite places to go on walks would be the meadows, Blackford Hill, Carlton Hill, the Pentlands, Arthur's Seat and Holyrood area and the Braid Hermitage. Portobello beach is also an ideal spot to let dogs off the lead for a run and a splash in the water. 
As I don't have suitable accommodation to allow your pets into my home, my services would include dog walking and home visits with pet sitting in your homes. For home visits, I will feed your pet, and spend around forty five minutes per visit interacting and playing with them, to break up their day. I would also let them outside if your home has a outdoor area for them to use. My services are not only for dogs, I would happily provide home visits and house sittings for cats too! 
I respect that every owner has individual needs and expectations and I would cater for every of these needs. Above all, I cannot wait to be around animals again! 

We're a couple who loves being around animals, and have cared for other animals as well as pet sit experiences. We have two cats of our own, they're our joy! My partner and I are happy to do home visits, dog walking, as well as cat boarding. (Unfortunately can't do dog boarding, cause our two cats will be pretty bummed). Hello, pet lovers! My life has always been intertwined with the joy and love pets bring. I am motivated to be a pet sitter primarily because of my genuine affection for animals. Having grown up with a variety of pets such as 2 dogs, 3 cats, and even 5 ducks, I've been imbued with a deep understanding and compassion for these wonderful creatures. This is Joy. 
I adopted my pug about a year and half ago. The adoption happened in the mid of COVID, I was working in Film business and I was on a long vacation when he showed up, and it turned out to be the best vacation ever. I spent all my time with him, getting to know him, playing with him, walking him 3 times every day, seeing him make friends with other dogs in the community, recording his moments, learning every bit about pugs and dogs in general. 
All my close friends have dogs, so I get to play with them a lot as well. 
I have taken care of my neighbors' dogs, my friends' dogs while they are away, varies from checking on dogs at their place, feed and walk the dog, to having the dog in my place and take care of them. I am helping my friend in taking care of her dog at the moment. 
I love dogs to begin with, and with my pug's help, I'm obsessed with dogs now. I'm more than confident that I can take care of dogs, whatever their sizes or breeds, I also like to train dogs, and I'm blessed to have the chance to learn about them, their tempers and habits, and interact and befriend with them. 
Prefer not to have dog in my house, since there are two dogs and 1 cat already. But I can go over and stay at urs to take care of the dog.
