We are a 30 year old couple who are animal crazy, both growing up and being around animals from birth there is nothing we love more than surrounding ourselves with dogs! We are both experienced with hounds from puppies to older dogs with more needs!
We treat all dogs staying with us like they are part of our family. Our house is in a great central location and has a medium-sized back garden with grass which is completely enclosed with a fence and tall hedge so dogs can come and go as they please when they are relaxing during the day. Working from home means we are really flexible with pick-up and drop-off times and can keep dogs with their regular walking and feeding times. We will always send regular daily updates and photos so you can rest easy that your dog is having a great time!
Living a short distance from The Pentlands &amp; Portobello, means all our guests are treated to one or two 45-minute (or less if needed) walks throughout the day on grass or sand with lots of opportunities for good sniffs.
During a home visit or house sitting we will try and keep to your dog's (or other animals) routine as closely as we can with walks and feeding. Individual visits can be from 1 - 8 hours at a time depending on the needs of the animals, as I can bring my laptop and work from your home so I can spend quality time with all your pets. I can also be in to collect deliveries and water any plants while you're away.&nbsp;
If this is your dog's first time boarding with us, we will always make sure that it's the only dog so we can get to know each other properly and we can learn how they are with other dogs and understand their routine, only if you and another owner are happy will we board dogs together. We understand some dogs do need extra care or a calmer environment in older age whereas some dogs will love making new friends. There will only be a maximum of 2 dogs in the house at one time.

We ask you to provide any food, treats, bedding and toys that will make your dog feel really at home, it's also good for us to know if there are any training points you want me to work on during our stay e.g. toilet training, not letting them on the sofa or upstairs, lead walking and recall.

We're a couple who loves being around animals, and have cared for other animals as well as pet sit experiences. We have two cats of our own, they're our joy! My partner and I are happy to do home visits, dog walking, as well as cat boarding. (Unfortunately can't do dog boarding, cause our two cats will be pretty bummed). My country contains a lot of cats and dogs on a streets, I used to feed them everyday when I lived in Ukraine.^^ I used to help them when they needed.&nbsp;
All I could do is feeding pets but not take them to my house because I live in a place where animals are not allowed, unfortunately.
When I was away from my cat I had panic that my cat has not enough food and misses me and cries without me so I always needed (and still need) confirmation that she is ok. So I lmpw how hard it is to be so far away from your cat or any pet for a long time. It is really tough.&nbsp;
My motivation to be a pet sitter is to help other people while I can't help my cat. I want to feel that even though my kitty is so far away from me, I can help anothers with their lovely pets.&nbsp;

Having grown up with a variety of pets such as 2 dogs, 3 cats, and even 5 ducks, I've been imbued with a deep understanding and compassion for these wonderful creatures. My experience isn't just personal; professionally, I've had the opportunity to work in a pet store in China for 5 months. This stint not only enhanced my knowledge about different breeds and their unique needs but also taught me about the intricacies of pet care, health, and well-being.

I love dogs and have grown up around them my whole life. My family had a German shepherd when I was a kid and I loved to help with his training. Some of my best memories as a kid were with him. 
My family currently have a husky who I've also spent lots of time with before I moved into my own place. I'll often go on long runs with Kobi when I'm back home visiting
I now have a cavapoo with my girlfriend. His name is Hamish and he is 2 years old.
I'm very used to looking after and training dogs and absolutely LOVE their company. Hamish is fantastic with other dogs. He is very sociable and is an official Therapet at the school I work in. He comes in every Tuesday and Friday to help children with additional support needs. Any dogs under my care will be well looked after and spoiled! They will also have a friend to play with- Hamish loves everyone and he's always looking to make new friends! He is extremely well natures and will be a positive influence on any other dog  Hamish is so well behaved, he even comes on bike rides with me, in his K9 sports backpack! Check out the pics!
I live in the Swanston area so there are plenty fantastic places to walk your dog. I also have an enclosed garden for them to chill outside under my supervision.
I am happy to transport your dog with Hamish to go on short or long walks at varied locations. We often take him to Inverleith park, orchard park, crammond beach, Hillend and reservoirs in the Pentland area to mix up the environments ️ ️  
I frequently visit my parents in Linlithgow to see our family dog Kobi. We often go big walks around Beecraigs country park. 
I'm flexible with where to go on walks. Hamish is an excellent walking buddy for your dog! He will be friends with anyone!

I am a cat owner (pumpkin) that I found when she was only 2 weeks old and I grew up surrounded by dogs.
She is now almost 4 years and she is a very happy and healthy cat.
I am mostly sitting cats currently and I had the chance of meeting a lot of lovely cats through this website as well as through my work!
I am more than open to regular requests as I bond quite easily with cats, I like to see them again ! 
I am working full time as a manager for a travel agency so I am mostly looking for offers that are close to Haymarket - I can consider further requests during my time off.
I have a set schedule and work 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday.
I am renting and my landlord doesn't allow pets in the flat so I'm not able to pet sit at my place however I am open for longer term pet sitting in your home.

I and my partner Annalisa have always been surrounded by dogs since we were kids. Back in Italy we ran together a small home boarding kennel for three years, in which we would took care of up to six dogs at one time. We loved looking after dogs, and it was a rewarding jobs, but then we had to put our love for them aside when we moved to Edinburgh and changed our careers.
Annalisa is graduated in "Dog breeding techniques and dog training" at the University of Pisa in Italy, and she also has experience as dog sitter.&nbsp;
I am at home and I have lot of time to dedicate to your dog, also I can offer dog-waking services and drop-in visits. Annalisa works part-time, therefore she might be unavailable sometimes.&nbsp;
We have a 13 years old Golden Retriever, so we can accept only dogs who get along with her and are not too eccited, full of energy or possessive.&nbsp;
We provide spare bowls for water and food, poop bagas and basic treats. Feel free to bring your own iterms, such as beds, towels, dog treats, toyes, etc... whatever your dog might need to feel more comfortable.&nbsp;
We live in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, surrounded by several green spaces. On thop of that, there is a huge park in 5 minutes walking distance. The are is closed to the Airport, which is perfect if you want to drop your dog and go catch your flight! :)

This is Joy. 
I adopted my pug about a year and half ago. The adoption happened in the mid of COVID, I was working in Film business and I was on a long vacation when he showed up, and it turned out to be the best vacation ever. I spent all my time with him, getting to know him, playing with him, walking him 3 times every day, seeing him make friends with other dogs in the community, recording his moments, learning every bit about pugs and dogs in general. 
All my close friends have dogs, so I get to play with them a lot as well. 
I have taken care of my neighbors' dogs, my friends' dogs while they are away, varies from checking on dogs at their place, feed and walk the dog, to having the dog in my place and take care of them. I am helping my friend in taking care of her dog at the moment. 
I love dogs to begin with, and with my pug's help, I'm obsessed with dogs now. I'm more than confident that I can take care of dogs, whatever their sizes or breeds, I also like to train dogs, and I'm blessed to have the chance to learn about them, their tempers and habits, and interact and befriend with them. 
Prefer not to have dog in my house, since there are two dogs and 1 cat already. But I can go over and stay at urs to take care of the dog.
