My dog daycare service is perfect for dog owners that are away during the day for work, I provides daily care and is typically open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Your dog will have time and space to socialise and play with other dogs under the watchful eye of me.

Physical activities and mental stimulation can keep dogs from getting bored, acting out, and getting overweight. 

Owners will be updated daily by sending photos videos and video calls in case you miss seeing. I believe that the best choice for them, when the owners go away on vacation or for work, is to stay in their environment so that they won’t face any changes in their daily routine, In short, your dog will not notice your absence, and you can enjoy your vacation or be focus in a busy day at work.

Lap of Luxury is a local, independent company, based in Amersham, specialising in the provision of boutique day and overnight care for your beloved companions. We provide a range of services designed to make your dog as happy, stimulated and comfortable as possible. 
We focus on gentle socialisation and playing, with many young dogs not having been able to socialise enough during Covid lockdowns. If you continue to work from home, it can be helpful for your dog to have a change of scenery and to meet new people and play with different dogs in a safe and well-supervised environment.

Induction Process
My focus is on dogs’ comfort with the appropriate blend of small companion dogs, getting to know my home, garden and some of the other dogs in my care. Unfortunately, boarding bookings for dogs who have not completed the induction process are not possible. If you have a holiday coming up, let's get the induction process completed to enable you to schedule a lovely holiday for your dog while you are away.
1 – One hour meet and greet for owner(s) and dog(s).2 – Four hour familiarisation session with you here for first half hour.3 – Eight hour day (or) overnight stay if you will be boarding.
One overnight stay is required before a longer-term boarding booking is accepted to ensure your dog will be comfortable.

Before Booking

Your dog should be at least one year old.
Please ensure your dog is housetrained.
Proof of being neutered / spayed.
Proof of annual vaccinations including kennel cough.

You Provide

Dog food that your dog normally eats.
Lead, collar/harness with ID tag.
You are encouraged to bring your dog’s bedding and favoured toys to ensure your dog feels at home.
Any necessary medicines and instructions.


During Your Dog's Stay

Lap of Luxury tags with our phone number attached to collar while in our care.
Daily pictures and updates.
Facetime/Whatsapp video calls with your dog when boarding.
Minimum of two 20-minute walks per day (or equivalent active playing in garden) during an eight-hour day care session; a third walk (or equivalent) per 24-hour stay in local parks and woodlands.
'Lead-always-on' policy during walks.
Coat brushed, paws, ears and eyes checked and cleaned daily.
Hills hypoallergenic treats and dried sprats (fish) provided with your permission.

Having grown up in a family of veterinarians, I have taken care of dogs, cats and other animals from the age of 8 years old. As someone who simply loves animals, I am frequently enlisted to look after my friend's pets. I am also used to working with rescue dogs and those that suffer with separation anxiety. I currently live with my friend who adopted a dog so we often share responsibilities. Passionate about animal welfare in general, I have a background working for an animal protection organisation and volunteering at animal sanctuaries for animals large and small.&nbsp;
I am currently working part-time, so I have flexibility to take care of your dogs during the day and overnight.
I have a fenced garden in my home, which is located directly opposite Highgate Wood and within easy reach of Hampstead Heath – a haven for dogs! I am also flexible to come to the pet owner's location.

We are Will and Aga, a creative young couple who love nature and animals!
We are energetic and enjoy going out for long walks and runs in Hampstead Heath. Having grown up up with different kind of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, turtles and birds; Living in London has lead us to miss the rest of our family and pets so we enjoy spending time with other furry friends!&nbsp;
Being freelancers we spend quite a lot of time at home working in our art. Will is a musician and most pets usually get mesmerised listening to him singing and playing guitar. Aga is an artist and a photographer.Our house has 2 bedrooms a nice living room and a big garden, it’s situated in a lovely residential road in Archway.
We require as many details as possible before looking after any pets and for long stays we would require a meet and greet before the booking.
(We have been looking after pets for more than 5 years and have reviews available on request from different websites and of recurring clients who will be more than happy to be contacted if needed.)

Greetings, I am Benjamin with my partner Galina. 

We have both grown up with dogs and have a strong passion for these lovely creatures

Based on all owners we have been sittings for, the more we realise how stressful it can be to leave your dog with other people 

We wish for a pleasant experience with communication and photos throughout the stay

We treat dogs equally with love, regardless of size and breed and adapt to dogs personality 

We will adjust to your dogs needs and have experience in giving medication (even the tricky dogs that spits out pills stand no chance) 

We also have a car and can drive dog to the vet in case of emergency

We both work from home and are available all day, so the dog will get too “much” attention. Normally we have a walk morning and evening but also have some mid day walks.


We have a medium to big terrace with artificial grass that the dogs have access to always and can go out and play / potty


We have waterbowls and a lot of toys and treats
But would ask you to bring all dogs necessities such as food for the stay/bowls etc. everything else is optional but a bed,favourite toys and treats can be useful!

Please not that if your dog has any behavioural issues it’s important for me to know especially if they need to be addressed quickly.

If your small dog is leash pulling or smaller things i.e that doesn’t need to be addressed unless you want me to

If it’s more extreme like a big dog pulling my arm off or constant barking etc, I am willing to train your dog at an additional rate depending on the situation 

Note that depending on the length of the stay, I can not cure a dog, only guide the dog and owner in the right direction. To fully fix a behaviour it needs to be followed up by the owner on a daily routine.
