"Highly recommend Millie, she has looked after my dog and a cat for 2 weeks, and the animals as well as the house were well looked after. Thank you! Will definitely be using Millies services again!"

"Jessica stepped in at very short notice and upon meeting her we instantly felt at ease leaving our dogs in her care. Jessica kept us well informed and the dogs seemed happy and relaxed when we arrived home and the house was lovely and tidy. Jessica was very flexible with the times we needed her and was happy to stay later when our flight was delayed. We would definitely recommend Jessica and would certainly look to book her in the future. "

"Susan was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! We entrusted her with our home and our two beloved pets, Lara and Raffi, for three weeks while we travelled around India, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. From our very first conversations, Susan was friendly, professional, reassuring and genuinely enthusiastic about looking after them. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that both our pets and our home were in such capable and caring hands, particularly while we were so far away. Returning home after three weeks to find everything well looked after was exactly what we had hoped for. Most importantly, knowing Lara and Raffi had been safe, comfortable and cared for throughout our absence gave us tremendous peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful to Susan for everything she did and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind and dependable house sitter. Thank you so much, Susan! You would be our first choice again without hesitation! 😊"

"Mercy looked after our dog, Lennie, and our home for three weeks while we were away, and we couldn’t have been happier with her. She took Lennie out for walks every day and sent us lots of lovely updates and photos on WhatsApp, which was really reassuring and meant we always felt like both Lennie and the house were in very good hands. Mercy is also just a genuinely lovely person. She’s warm, kind and very sweet, and it was a pleasure getting to know her before we left. She was also wonderful with our young daughter, which we really appreciated. We’d happily have Mercy look after Lennie again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable and trustworthy to care for their pets and home. "

"Absolutely fantastic care given to our 2 dogs over 10 days whilst we were away. Even when there was a problem with Tilly, Caroline communicated this immediately and took her to the vets. Without Caroline’s quick intervention, this problem could have become worse. Both dogs very happy, much loved and well fed on our return. Caroline and her son Josh have become part of the family and we wouldn’t choose anyone else to care for our dogs during future travels."

"Alice was an absolute lifesaver, stepping in to house sit for my cat and large dog on short notice over the holidays for two weeks. She was fantastic! From the very beginning, her communication was top-notch. During our meet and greet, she took the time to properly introduce our dogs, as I didn't mind to let her dog stay over if they got along. Throughout her stay, Alice provided daily updates with pictures and videos, which was incredibly reassuring. She went above and beyond, especially when unexpected delays extended my return. I can't thank her enough for her flexibility and support. Despite having two dogs who love muddy adventures, the house was spotless when I returned, just as I had left it. I highly recommend Alice for her exceptional care and dedication."

"Mollie was a great sitter. She stepped in at short notice and was happy to come and do a meet and greet beforehand. Mollie connected well with Jeff from the outset and I felt comfortable leaving her to dog sit. Mollie did a great job and kept me informed with updates throughout, would highly recommend. "

"We are very grateful that Wiktoria came and looked after our dogs on such short notice and did an excellent job. Dogs were happy and she listened to all of our concerns as they both have very different personalities and needs, which we really appreciated. She also sent us video and picture updates during the sitting. Definitely Recommend "

"Excellent dog sitters - I am very anxious about leaving my dogs in other people's care but the guys made me feel more confident and the dogs seemed to relax with them (even the one who doesn't always warm to people he doesn't know!). I will definitely be using Matt and Rob again."

Pawshake also offers house sitting in

Why house sitting ?

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Alfreton home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Alfreton.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Alfreton home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Pet owners book house sitting in Alfreton on Pawshake. Over 369 pet owners in Alfreton have left a review, with an average of 4.98/5. All paid safely using Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, American Express
