Hello! I am Enea and I am a recent graduate. I grew up in Italy in front of a large natural park both with family dogs and taking care of friends' dogs. At times we would have three dogs in the house for several months at a time, so needless to say, I have learnt to take care of and understand them deeply.&nbsp;I was also in charge of training a puppy over the last few years before I moved to Glasgow.&nbsp;&nbsp;Over the pandemic I walked a beautiful pitbull puppy named Ettore, and I would feed him and administer oral medicine. A few times I have taken care of two beautiful border collies for days at a time, so I can deal with a lot of energy too. I am well accustomed to large dogs and small dogs alike, and I am confident with slightly more aggressive dogs as well. I believe it is about a mutual relationship of respect between dog and sitter.&nbsp;The services I offer are dog walking, feeding, visiting dogs at the owner's homes and overnight care.&nbsp;I drive and have a small car for any transport.&nbsp;If you have more questions, please feel free to ask, and I am also happy to meet pets beforehand to see if we are a good fit.&nbsp;

This is Johnny, a big fan of cats and dogs! I fell in love with cats a few years ago, when I had the chance to live for 3 years with three wonderful cats. I've seen a few litters of kittens be born, helped socialise them and look after them, and entertained them - often by playing fetch with them! I had the priviledge to work from home with 3 cats sleeping on my bed, and many times, two of them would steal my office chair spot after leaving the room for more than 5 minutes. Nothing beats cosiness than a wee room that smells like coffee and a cat sleeping in the middle of the bed! One of them would demand walks around the neighbouthood, as he wanted to show off that his big clumsy 'cat' friend would protect him in the territorry of other cats.&nbsp;
I have always loved dogs. I have pet sat a few different dogs, some of them with anxiety issues. Running with them is a thing that I really enjoy, especially with breeds that require lots of activity. Mentioning the word "walkie", seeing the dog understand that is playing time, or when you come back from the shop and they are like "you're back! Yayyy!" - these are all moments of joy for me.
The reason why I would like to be part of Pawshake is because I miss having animals in my life. Unfortunately, I can't have pets of my own yet, and I am still adapting to living without any furry animal.There's nothing more rewarding that petsitting!


I am Rosa, a friendly, mature and reliable pet parent from Edinburgh. I have loved animals my whole life and have had my own animals (two hamsters, two rabbits, fish, my rescue dog Roxy and my beloved rescue cat Sunny) as well as taking care of other's pets. A little about us: 
Before Michael and I moved in together, Michael lived at home with his 5-year-old dog Rhino, and I lived at home with my 6-year-old cat Toby. 
Rhino stayed at home with Michaels family and Toby came with us, as introducing 2 adult pets didn't go too well unfortunately :(. Since then, we have missed having a doggy around and going for long walks, so have decided it's time to get a puppy of our own in the near future! Which made us think, what better way to save some pennies for our future puppy than to care for other fur babies!! 
During the peak of the pandemic, I volunteered to dog walk and sit for the elderly who were unable to leave their homes or had to attend appointments. I met lots of precious fur babies and really enjoyed the opportunity of taking them for long walks and seeing them getting to stretch their legs.
I work from home and Michael works from home every Monday and Friday, so we have plenty of time as a team to be available for walkies and drop ins. 
We would love to be a helping hand with your fur babies and provide you peace of mind that they will be in safe and loving hands! After all they are the most precious part of the family.

I grew up on a farm in the United States where I lovingly handled chickens, cats, dogs and horses. Whether that be mucking out the stalls so the horses had a comfortable bed to lay down in, making sure our boston terriers had plenty of outdoor time to exhaust their loving yet hyperactive batteries, or if anyone was sick to ensure that the babies got the proper treatment.
Being far away from the farm that I grew up on has left a lasting hole in my heart, one that was filled with fuzzy warm dogs that wanted to kiss me because they are filled with love. Filled with the spurts of dopamine I would receive whenever I came home, greeted by the energetic excitement of the animals. Filled with a sense of parental love as I became a voice for them because they do not have one.
This is why I wish to become a sitter, because I miss my animals back home and want to extend my love for them to your pets. Growing up on a farm throughout my 30 years of being on it has offered me the privelege of taking care of 6 cats and 12 dogs. This meant I was responsible for walking, washing, training and feeding every one of them. This care extended to the slightly larger meadow puppies who weighed closer to 600 kg and were used for horseback riding. My experience in taking care of animals is vast as it has always been matched with my sincere love for them.&nbsp;
I take any and all animals, does not matter. Any chance I can get to see their tail wag, hear their bark, scratch their coat or throw their ball I will take it.&nbsp;

I moved to Edinburgh from New Zealand in 2022 and have been really missing animals as I'm not allowed a pet in my flat. I used pawshake to help save up for my move back in New Zealand for six months before I moved here. I really enjoyed meeting new people and pets and getting to form a bond with the ones I saw regularly. I'm looking to get back into it so I can pat some cute dogs on the regular.&nbsp;I grew up with cats in my home but have looked after lots of different kinds of dogs through this app. Once I get a place of my own I'd love to get a daschund one day.&nbsp;I am based in EH7, close to Easter Road and Meadowbank. I really love how many people have dogs here and how dog friendly Edinburgh is. I work full time Monday to Friday, mostly in the office near Old Town.&nbsp;When I'm not at work I like to visit all the museums and galleries around the place, or relax in front of the tv with whatever series I'm currently working through.&nbsp;I'm experienced and available for feeding and play visits, dog walking and house/pet sitting while you're away. I grew up always surrounded by pets at home and we had several dogs which were my best friends. I recently was a proud dog mum to two lovely but sometimes a little naughty rescue greyhounds! Sadly we lost them both in their old age earlier this year. I am not in a position to adopt again at the moment, but am missing the happiness and joy dogs can bring to our lives. This is why I have set up a Pawshake profile, to help out with your furry family&nbsp;
I have experience with anxious and needy dogs, as well as dogs who are not happy around other dogs, people or other pets. I am understanding, patient and caring and understand that all dogs are different and have their own quirks and funny personalities. I have carried out training with my own dogs, including basic commands but also helping with some behavioural issues and would be able to offer some of this experience to training. I'd be happy also to do some basic dog maintenance e.g brushing fur and teeth. I will get to know your dog and your requirements, and could house sit overnight at weekends, or bank holidays if needed. I would be able to also some basic house chores like watering the plants if I'll be there anyway, and would spend time with your day giving them plenty of fuss!
My availabilty for dog walking would primarily be weekends in the day or weekday evenings as I do work Monday to Friday, usually in the office. On the weekend, or weekday evenings I can dog sit or walk your dog, and will only take on one dog at at time (unless from the same family), so your dog would have my undivided attention (as it should be!).&nbsp;
I am based in the NewTown/Stockbridge area of Edinburgh so at the moment would be available for only fairly local dogs - but happy to meet more! Walks would mostly be short walks around the city, but if your dog needs longer walks we could go further to Inverleith Park or near you and do some running around and play fetch etc.&nbsp;

I'm a massive animal lover available for dog walking around Granton, Trinity and Leith areas. I've always had dogs and cats growing up and I really enjoy their company. I’ve spent time volunteering in DSPCA (RSPCA in Ireland) and Dogstrust so I’m familar with different dog breeds, sizes and personalities. I took a dog training course a few years ago where we learned various dog training techniques.
