Hi, my name is Helen, I am a City &amp; Guilds Level 2 qualified dog groomer and due to return to college to do Level 3 in January 2024. I currently offer 1-2-1 grooming services at my home.&nbsp;
I also offer a range of pet sitting services and am looking to do more while I'm studying. I offer a range of services - from 30 minute drop-ins to overnight stays in your home. I've taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters and an African Pygmy hedgehog over the last couple of years. I am DBS checked, fully insured and canine first aid trained (with CPR).&nbsp;
I grew up in the south of England and we had dogs, cats and other small animals through the years. When I left home I got a kitten. His name was Charlie and he was my flat mate for 16 years. I've also looked after dogs/cats for family members and friends.


Ever since I was young I have adored animals, especially cats as my they have been a part of my family all my life. I also own numerous small animals such as hamsters and fish, and have done for the last 6 years. I'm a university student, currently studying biochemistry in the hopes to lead myself towards veterinary in the future, so I can do even more to help animals in need. I understand many animals are house pets, which is why it is so important to seek proper care to ensure they are as happy as can be. During the holidays, I am a part of ForPaws which is an animal care company back home in Surrey. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of this team and would love to carry on caring for animals through term time too. Due to the fact I am a student, I have a fairly flexible timetable which makes this job perfect for me. ForPaws works as a freelance company, with you looking after your own bookings and clients within your catchment area. I particularly enjoy the style of work as I am capable of creating my own schedule around other commitments, and really building a close bond with my repeating clients. I am happy to care for all animals, providing they have been trained properly. I will not be taking any animals into my home unless they are a small animal or a cat, due to the fact I live in a small two bed flat with no garden. I am more than happy to travel to you however, and look after your beloved animal in the comfort of their own home. I am also happy to administer any oral medication, but no injections (diabetes etc).&nbsp;


A bit about me....Hello! My name is Amber, I'm 25 and completely animal crazy.My mother raised me whilst running her own animal rescue, so for the longest time I've been caring for animals. As I got older I went on to complete an animal management diploma. This qualification gave me the hands on experience and knowledge to really know what I'm doing with a large array of species.&nbsp;&nbsp;I've had a huge amount of experience over the last 25 years i've been on this planet, including working at a Romanian dog rescue with some very large breeds that had extreme behavioural issues.I have my own dog called Lily, she is a Maltese cross and just turned 8 years in April. Lily will happily get along with other dogs. Based in the charming village of Chiddingfold, I share my home with my two lovely Cocker Spaniels, Margot and Hugo, and my equally wonderful fiance. I've transformed my love for animals into my own Professional Pet Care business, which offers pet sitting, small animal care, and home drop-ins from Godalming down to Haslemere and all surrounding villages. I am therefore available for daily, weekly or ad hoc services, at times which are suitable to your pet's normal routine to make sure they are as happy and content as possible.

Dog Sitting services include an overnight stay from 7PM to 7AM, during which time they will be supervised and not left unattended. They'll enjoy private daytime walks and drop-ins throughout the daytime. I ensure that they will never be left alone for more than 3 hours at a stretch.

I would be happy to walk your dogs for at least 30 minutes per walk. I'd also do house visits to check on your pets to make sure they are fed/watered, cleaned, and played with! I am open to overnight stays at your home too! 
I also have experience looking after pets young and old with various medical issues and can administer oral medication.

I love animals, land and sea: love to connect with them . I treat them with respect, just like humans; to love and have fun and make their stay as enjoyable and stress free as possible.
I offer myself as a pet sitter because it's f these reasons and I have communication skills with all animals. 
i run and walk with them and go to woodland and off lead areas ( country side) with no roads. We have loads of fun and stimulation.
My previous experience I pet cared in the alps for 8 years and had a Pyrenean Mountain Dog and a Samoyed. 6 cats and worked along with the local vet, and the Agricultural farm, full of animals. 
In Uk I owned 6 chinchillas for 11 years and 2 x giant rabbits , and a bearded dragon and a tortoise - along with 6 Marine tanks (which I also offer maintenance and water chnages, tests whilst owners are away ), plus my dog and handicapped cats. Big Happy family.
If your pet has specific needs then we can work with that; and whether they have any ailments / disabilities. Or if they are just getting on a bit (bless ).I can administer most medication, basic pet training (Especially kittens and puppies ), litter training, and any injuries or disabilities will be cared for, and taken into consideration .&nbsp;
i train all my dogs and cats for the basic social skills and for handling and am particularly patient with stubborn and large breed dog .&nbsp;&nbsp;I take on Huskies and Malamutes - Vetting the dogs I take in to care is required because I want to know they will be happy and not stressed . I do accept non vaccinated animals but will always liaise with other owners dogs that I may have at that time , prior to accepting non vaccinated animals.

I’m a long time cat lover who is taking some time out of university while studying medicine and love meeting new cats.
I have 2 cats back home called Freckle and Smudge. Freckle is a bit of a grumpy old woman these days but I still love her as much as the day we got her as a kitten, whereas smudge is the cheekiest little thing you'll ever meet and spends her time winding up me, freckle and my mum.&nbsp;
I have always loved cats and dogs but I've always had a soft spot for cats. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person you are choosing to take care of your cats. I’m very attentive to cats and will give them all the fuss and love they want and need and I am very reliable and organised. I’ve had a variety of part time jobs that required good time keeping so that shouldn’t be an issue.&nbsp;
I know how all pets have different personalities and I would take time to get to know each one well as to best care for them and make them as comfortable around me as possible.&nbsp;
I provide 1x and 2x a day feeding services and potential cat sitting depending on the situation, I will come in a feed your pet and give them some attention and a fuss before I leave so they can get to know me and vise versa
