"Simon is fabulous, he took great care of our six dogs and our home. When we came back the house was spotless. And more importantly, he followed all of our instructions including watching our dogs eat to make sure they didn’t choke and keeping the house safe with the alarm system and he also walked two dogs a day separately as requested to ensure their safety around off lead big dogs and other unexpected things. He updated us often (every day which was very appreciated) and was always to the point and clear and reassuring which was appreciated during our busy holidays. Simon’s attention to detail is brilliant and, saying this as someone who used to be an experienced pet sitter myself, you will struggle to find someone as good as him! "

"I contacted Vanessa after carefully reading a handful of profiles - she seemed like a really good fit for my needs. Vanessa visited us once before we booked to make sure it was a good fit for all (she was staying in my house for the 8 days we would be away) and I just got a warm feeling straight away. She’s very experienced with cats and very nuanced to their behaviours and personalities. Even the first visit was exceptional with my timid little girl going straight over to Vanessa for a stroke - never happens! After the first visit I booked Vanessa and she came to see us again a week before hols to get house keys and just run through a few things. Vanessa is a vegetarian so I bought some food for her to make sure she had enough for at least a few days (plus a few little thank you gifts and treats).
During the holiday, I got plenty of updates and photos which was really reassuring as I have 3 cats with totally different needs. My youngest was recovering from a nasty bite and needed watching closely (discharged by vet but wound still healing) - he also has separation anxiety and needs quite a lot of attention. My oldest is partially deaf and blind and needs help sometimes when it’s food time. My middle cat is a total outdoors girl - so it can be hard to keep track of her just to make sure she’s still around and ok.
Vanessa did a fabulous job. My cats really took to her which is such a relief (I know how picky they can be). They had lots of play and were fed,watered and cuddled lots ❤️My youngest took a real shine to her and of the 3 he’s the least likely to attach himself to anyone else.
Vanessa is a confident cat carer and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again or recommend her. She even stayed calm in the first few days when the front door lock broke and we worked out a solution. My house was lovely and tidy when I got home too.

"Deborah recently looked after my dog Arlo and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Communication was great from the start and Deborah sent me photos and updates throughout the day. I came home to a very happy and tired dog. It's a big deal leaving your pet and home with somebody else so I feel very lucky to have found Deborah!"

"Couldn't recommend Nicola enough. She was a great sitter for our dog who is a large dog with a high prey drive. She has been brilliant, very friendly and down to earth. She clearly loves animals as our dog Poppy had a brilliant time, we were kept updated throughout the week with updates and pictures. The house was left very clean and we will definitely be using Nicola again."

"Evie and her partner were wonderful sitters. We were worried about leaving Lilly our anxious labrador on her own for the first time but needn't have been. Evie played with her, took her out for walks and even on a little trip to a local nature park. When we had to come home early in the middle of the night, Evie very kindly waited up for us and made sure Lilly was ok before saying goodbye. A very tired and happy labrador has tobe the perfect sign of a good sitting."

"We were visiting North Yorkshire for a wedding and needed a sitter to care for our 11 year old Labrador and our 4 month old Patterdale puppy on her first holiday. We instantly felt at ease when Brook arrived at our cottage and the dogs absolutely loved her. She gave us pupdates through the evening so we could relax and when we came back the dogs were happily chilled out and sleeping. Couldn’t ask for more than that. Would highly recommend Brook as a pet sitter 😊"

"We have had Rotti’s for over 11 years now. We have had numerous dog minders over the years. Some good but allot were a disaster . Nicola is the absolute best ! We have never felt happier. Our dog Luca was treated so well it was a holiday for him. Nicola took Luca on so many walks and hikes . Took him to different parks and walks in and around Manchester. Nicola really look after Luca as if he was her dog . 🐶 Sent us numerous photos of Luca in different places and parks. If there was an Oscar award for dog minders Nicola would get it ! "

"Sky looked after our 3 dogs for a week. She did a fab meet and greet beforehand and put my mind at ease immediately. While we were away Sky communicated daily and if there was anything she needed to ask she did. It was nice having daily conversations regarding the dogs - as let’s face it all of us want that. ❤️ Sky was happy to check my horses daily and into the stay had to take over our 2 cats’ feeding from my elderly dad, who was a bit overwhelmed, which she did without drama or fuss. The house was lovely and tidy on our return and the dogs were very excited to see us, but also pleasantly calm which signalled to me how content they had been. "
