"Bella did an amazing job looking after Buddy and Snowball, including wonderful outings and wild walks for Buddy and dealing with an unexpected injury which meant a visit to the vets and after care / giving meds etc for Snowball. All handled with confidence and ease. Bella sent some lovely pics and regular updates so I felt reassured the whole time I was away. I would recommend Bella without hesitation…thank you for taking care of the house and my pets 🤩"

"Michelle is the perfect cat sitter. My girls would give her five stars too! Michelle is responsive, confident , and most importantly, her love of animals is evident within moments of meeting her. I felt at ease on my trip and knew the girls were in safe hands! "

"Absolutely fantastic care given to our 2 dogs over 10 days whilst we were away. Even when there was a problem with Tilly, Caroline communicated this immediately and took her to the vets. Without Caroline’s quick intervention, this problem could have become worse. Both dogs very happy, much loved and well fed on our return. Caroline and her son Josh have become part of the family and we wouldn’t choose anyone else to care for our dogs during future travels."

"Audrey did a fantastic job looking after our dog, Pip. Throughout the stay she kept us updated with plenty of photos, and it was clear Pip was having a wonderful time, getting lots of attention, walks, and care. What really stood out was how much Audrey went above and beyond. When we returned home, the house was absolutely immaculate—honestly cleaner and tidier than when we left. She had even washed the sheets and towels she had used and hung everything up to dry, which was completely unexpected and hugely appreciated. Audrey was reliable, thoughtful, and clearly cares deeply about the pets she looks after. We wouldn't hesitate to use her again and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. "

"Matt sat for us for 5 days recently whilst we were on holiday and it was a very positive experience. Matt came to the home prior to the sit to meet us and Ozzy and to set out expectations of the sit. Matt communicated through the sit giving us updates and pictures and was respectful of our home, leaving it clean and tidy on his departure. Matt left us a small painting of Ozzy he had done during his sit which was an unexpected and very thoughtful gift! Would recommend Matt as a trustworthy sitter! "

"It was obvious that both the cat and dog liked Amy from the meet and greet, and all of the daily photo updates. Her care on the housesit went way beyond the call of duty, caring for an elderly 14 year old collie through an emergency tooth extraction, and subsequent rehabilitation, and coordinating with a local veterinary nurse. Not only was I able to complete my course overseas, but came home to a happier stronger dog, a very contented cat, and lovely clean home. Not to mention the clear instructions on increased medication. Outstanding, I highly recommend Amy to care for your pets."

"I would definitely recommend Holly! She was able to help with a last-minute booking and still made time to come for a meet and greet beforehand, which was really reassuring. She took great care of all my pets and kept me regularly updated with messages and photos while I was away. It was lovely knowing they were happy and well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and would highly recommend her to others. 🐾❤️"

"Annachiara was fantastic with my cat, Malcolm. She put Malcolm's needs first, carefully followed his usual routine and gave him plenty of playtime and strokes. Malcolm is deaf and lives indoors only, but Annachiara was intuitively able to understand his needs. She even played the guitar to him so that he could feel the vibrations. Annachiara kept in constant contact, sending pictures each day, so I was able to relax and enjoy my holiday. I returned to a very happy cat and an immaculate house. Without hesitation I would recommend Annachiara and invite her to look after Malcolm again. Mal still misses her."

"Georgie was a fantastic sitter for our dog. We left Georgie with a young (under 1) energetic girl for 7 days and upon our return the house was clean and the dog was happy. We received regular correspondence and we needed not to worry about anything. I would definitely recommend Georgie and I will be in touch with her when we arrange our next holiday. 5 stars!"

Pawshake also offers house sitting in

Why house sitting ?

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Clowne home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Clowne.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Clowne home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Pet owners book house sitting in Clowne on Pawshake. Over 250 pet owners in Clowne have left a review, with an average of 4.98/5. All paid safely using Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, American Express
