I'm Robin. I'm a 25 year old pet sitter located in Southsea, I have lived here for about 6 months. I love all types of animals. I grew up on a mini farm with animals including the usual cats and dogs, but also goats, chickens, ducks, llamas, horses, rabbits, hamsters, lizards, fish and one grumpy turtle. I have experience both with taking care of my own critters and pet sitting for others.
I haven't had pets of my own since moving from the US to the UK, so I have much animal love to give and few to give it too. I am, of course, quite happy to do all aspects of pet care needed, from cleaning litter boxes, to feeding, to cuddles and walks. I am comfortable with animals of all ages, from little excitable puppies or sneaky kittens vying for their first peek of the outdoors to old lumbering dogs and wizened cats. I am fully aware that different animals have different preferences when it comes to people and affection and can easily adapt to whatever they need, whether that be space or excited cuddles.
I also don't mind keeping up other household chores you need whilst you're away (picking up your post, taking out the bins, watering plants, etc.) And sending you updates and any adorable photos you need to prevent pet withdrawal.

*I am relocating to Portsmouth in May and will be restarting my dog walking business there, so cannot take on new regular London clients at this time*I have loved dogs all my life and grew up with various breeds including a Labrador, Border Collie, Grey Hound, Lurcher, Springer Spaniel and whippets. Since I started walking dogs in London 4 years ago I have looked after many, many other breeds though, from Bichon Frise to Bernese Mountain Dog and I think all breeds have their own lovely special qualities. I particularly love Staffies for instance and am very confident with any strength or size. Every dog has their own wants, habits and physical limitations so I tailor walks according to that particular dog's needs (be it a high-powered walk covering lots of ground, lots of ball play or a very slow meander close to home) therefore I don't offer pack walks. If there is more than one dog from the same household of course and they enjoy walking together then that is different and I am very happy to walk more than one in those situations.So if for whatever reason you are unable to take your furry best friend out as much as you would like to or need someone to dog sit while you are away or just at work please get in touch!Happy to provide references upon request.

I am a 28 year old female that works from home full time as an International Technologist in the food industry working flexible hours, which means i can offer round the clock care, cuddles &amp; walks to pets.&nbsp;Our base is in Hythe, set by the beach with lovely walks and pet-friendly areas on our doorstep but i travel around a lot in the UK doing full time house sitting with my partner who is a garden landscaper / labourer.We love exploring new places and adore animals so house sitting suits us down to a tee.We have been full time house sitters for the last 6 months, slowly working our way round the UK and have done so back to back with out any breaks. We have experience of staying in a variety of houses and have looked after animals of all shapes &amp; sizes from cockapoos to german shepherd's and malamute dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, chickens &amp; ducks, fish (including cold water, tropical &amp; pond) and even alpacas. I’ve always had a dog since I was a small child. Big ones, little ones, naughty ones, smart ones, pure breeds and mongrels! All were special to me in their own way and gave me much joy. After losing my most recent terrier to old age, I started to look after friends and neighbours dogs to fill the gap left by the lack of wet nose and paw prints and then decided to set up my own business ‘Woofmother’. And I have been busy ever since!
I have looked after a variety of dogs over the years, particularly nervous dogs, those with separation anxiety, behavioural issues and those who find difficulty with social interaction (whether with humans or other dogs). I have experience with senior dogs and those with health issues. I am pet first aid trained, fully insured and Enhanced DBS check certified.
I have also looked after people’s cats and small furries and I used to run a smallholding, so I’m adept at looking after most types of animals and have personally owned several dogs, a feral cat, ducks, chickens, sheep and pigs! I am an all round animal lover!
I offer pet-sitting services in your home, drop-ins and dog walking. For drop-ins, I can administer medication, feed, walk, play, empty litter trays or just provide company and cuddles. I can do day sits, evening sits or overnight sits. I can walk your dog for half an hour or an hour depending on their needs. This includes solo walking and walking in secure dog parks for particularly reactive dogs.

I'm 19 years old (turning 20 in June). I have been doing dog walking/walks from when I was 11 and could go out and walk dogs :). I've walked dogs for friends and family as-well as people I've never met and even with aggressive/shy or anxious dogs I do really well to keep them calm and stay away from what triggers them. Dogs to me are like people like me and you and the energy you give off to a dog will effect the way they act or behave! I like to keep calm in situations where the dogs might not be the most comfortable E.g. meeting/seeing dogs or seeing other animals/vehicles or even people. No dog is a bad dog maybe unless they do a 1 or 2 on the carpet but overall all big dogs or small, fat or slim, anxious or confident I love all dogs :) I have had anxious dogs not be anxious and also dogs which react to certain things not because you have to keep calm and give them good energy:)
