"Francisca was fantastic - she is very friendly and clearly caring with Kuya from our first meet and greet. She kindly followed all our instructions and even double‑checked the details ahead of our house sitting booking, which made us feel really reassured. Communication was smooth throughout, with regular updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup and we would happily book Francisca again."

"Zoe was the most amazing pet sitter. My cats who generally are initially skittish of new comers gelled with Zoe very quickly which amazed me, but instantly put my mind at ease. I got regular updates during my away days and got home to happy kitties. I certainly will rebook Zoe in future. Thank you Zoe for being so attentive to my fur babies. "

"we have been using Lisa for dog walking for the past few months- our dogs LOVE her and her family. Lisa and Holly recently house sat for us while we went abroad for a few days- we were given regular updates on all the animals - and they did not hesitate to ask questions if they were unsure. the house was well kept, and the animals were happy- well cared for- nothing was too much trouble. highly recommended "

"Petal has house and pet sat for us for a full week. She has looked after our lively dog, two house bunnies and five guinea pigs. We left very detailed care instructions for all our pets, including cleaning out, and these were followed exactly. Communication was brilliant- we felt reassured that our pets were being well looked after whilst we were away and, on occasions, Petal even went above and beyond. She was very neat & tidy around our house and we returned to find it exactly as we left it. I would highly recommend Petal as a trusted house and pet sitter and we will certainly be making use of her services again. We returned from our holiday to find contented, well looked after pets and a clean house. Thank you Petal."

"Daisy very kindly agreed to house sit our 2 Frenchies at very short notice for our daughters wedding, having been let down last minute by the people we originally had booked. Communications were great and very prompt and Daisy did what she said she would do. The Frenchies were absolutely fine when we returned, and the house was spotless. I would give Daisy 20 out of 10 👏👏👏👏"

"As soon as we met Patricia we felt at ease with her caring for our cats while we were away for a week. She absolutely exceeded expectations. She won over both our shy/aloof cats in record time, and took extra care to communicate with us throughout the stay. She also administered asthma medication twice daily to our cat Luna, and skillfully monitored her for asthma symptoms in our absence. Patricia was competent, caring, and wonderful with our pets and we will absolutely be rebooking her next time we leave town. 10/10 recommend! Thank you Patricia 🤗. "

Why house sitting ?

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Great Shelford home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Great Shelford.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Great Shelford home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Pet owners book house sitting in Great Shelford on Pawshake. Over 384 pet owners in Great Shelford have left a review, with an average of 4.95/5. All paid safely using Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, American Express
