"This was our first time using a pet sitter and we made the best choice booking with Liv & Katie. As always we’re quite apprehensive leaving our babies when we go away but Liv and Katie have really made this a reassuring experience. "Simon is fabulous, he took great care of our six dogs and our home. When we came back the house was spotless. And more importantly, he followed all of our instructions including watching our dogs eat to make sure they didn’t choke and keeping the house safe with the alarm system and he also walked two dogs a day separately as requested to ensure their safety around off lead big dogs and other unexpected things. He updated us often (every day which was very appreciated) and was always to the point and clear and reassuring which was appreciated during our busy holidays. Simon’s attention to detail is brilliant and, saying this as someone who used to be an experienced pet sitter myself, you will struggle to find someone as good as him! "

"Absolutely amazing from start to finish. You can tell straight away how much genuine care and attention goes into what they do. I was really anxious leaving my pets, but they kept me updated, followed everything perfectly, and treated them like their own. I came home to happy, relaxed pets and everything exactly as it should be.
Reliable, trustworthy, professional, and just genuinely lovely to deal with. It makes such a difference finding someone you feel completely comfortable leaving your animals with. "I contacted Vanessa after carefully reading a handful of profiles - she seemed like a really good fit for my needs. Vanessa visited us once before we booked to make sure it was a good fit for all (she was staying in my house for the 8 days we would be away) and I just got a warm feeling straight away. She’s very experienced with cats and very nuanced to their behaviours and personalities. Even the first visit was exceptional with my timid little girl going straight over to Vanessa for a stroke - never happens! After the first visit I booked Vanessa and she came to see us again a week before hols to get house keys and just run through a few things. Vanessa is a vegetarian so I bought some food for her to make sure she had enough for at least a few days (plus a few little thank you gifts and treats).
During the holiday, I got plenty of updates and photos which was really reassuring as I have 3 cats with totally different needs. My youngest was recovering from a nasty bite and needed watching closely (discharged by vet but wound still healing) - he also has separation anxiety and needs quite a lot of attention. My oldest is partially deaf and blind and needs help sometimes when it’s food time. My middle cat is a total outdoors girl - so it can be hard to keep track of her just to make sure she’s still around and ok.
Vanessa did a fabulous job. My cats really took to her which is such a relief (I know how picky they can be). They had lots of play and were fed,watered and cuddled lots ❤️My youngest took a real shine to her and of the 3 he’s the least likely to attach himself to anyone else.
Vanessa is a confident cat carer and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again or recommend her. She even stayed calm in the first few days when the front door lock broke and we worked out a solution. My house was lovely and tidy when I got home too.
Vanessa is just a lovely person, warm, genuine and a genuine cat lover. What more could you ask for? Thanks again Vanessa from Sarah, Custard, Crumble and Milo. "

"Julian recently looked after my two cats, my German Shepherd, and even my fish, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process, which made leaving my pets and home in his care much easier.
He managed everything really well and clearly paid attention to each animal’s needs. When I returned, the house was modestly clean and well looked after, which I really appreciated.

"Josh helped us when we were left short without a dog sitter and had a weekend away planned, from first contact he was polite and helpful, put us at ease and was able to be flexible and work around us. He had a meet and greet with us and our pets, made sure he had all the information about the house and our pets to look after both properly. He updated us regularly and sent pictures and videos of our pets which was lovely and made us feel at ease that they were well looked after. Our house was in better condition than when we left, with josh making sure it was hoovered and kitchen wiped down which was lovely to return to after a long weekend and our boys seemed settled and happy. Would happily recommend josh to anyone looking for a house sitter or someone to look after their pets and we will definitely be booking with him again in future.

"Evie and her partner were wonderful sitters. We were worried about leaving Lilly our anxious labrador on her own for the first time but needn't have been. Evie played with her, took her out for walks and even on a little trip to a local nature park. When we had to come home early in the middle of the night, Evie very kindly waited up for us and made sure Lilly was ok before saying goodbye. A very tired and happy labrador has tobe the perfect sign of a good sitting."

"We were visiting North Yorkshire for a wedding and needed a sitter to care for our 11 year old Labrador and our 4 month old Patterdale puppy on her first holiday. We instantly felt at ease when Brook arrived at our cottage and the dogs absolutely loved her. She gave us pupdates through the evening so we could relax and when we came back the dogs were happily chilled out and sleeping. Couldn’t ask for more than that. Would highly recommend Brook as a pet sitter 😊"
