My motivation to become a pet sitter has come from a love of animals right from an early age, I've always had a passion for them and I've grown up with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, reptiles, you name it, I've had it!&nbsp;
From leaving my own pet's in kennels/catteries, I am familiar with the stress and anxiety this can cause both to the pet and the owner so if I can be a part of that process to prevent it being a stressful time for both then I will be.
Although I don't have any professional pet sitting experience, I have dog sat for my neighbour for years, I look after my own cat too. I've also got many animal degrees including a bachelor of science degree in zoology. I've had various jobs and work experience placements involving the animal sector which vary from veterinary, grooming and kennel work so I'm familiar with all that comes with looking after these fury creatures :)I will vist for around 30 minutes and will play/cuddle your fur babies, empty litter trays, water plants if needed, I can also feed fish if you have any, I will also make it look like someone is home by opening and closing curtains and putting bins out.Due to my job, I am unable to commite to two visits on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but can still do one visit on these days, I can also offer dog walking of an evening and weekends and home stays will be limited to Friday - Monday!


My name is Heather, I’m 30 years old and live in Stretford Manchester. I have had dogs all my life and been around many different breeds of dog including German shepherds, border collies &amp; huskies. I believe that dogs are truly a person’s best friend as my dogs are definitely mine and I understand leaving them on their own when at work or on holiday can be at times upsetting and put a damper on things as you wish you could take them with you, but rest assured they will be happy &amp; safe with me and I will send you regular updates to tell you how they are throughout our time together, I also have experience with dogs who require medication and a more gentle relaxed way of life. Whether they need a lot of exercise or they would just like some company I’m happy to give them whatever they require.&nbsp;
I do not currently have my own transport as yet but am more than happy to get public transport to wherever you need me to be. I also believe that dogs are happiest when I’m familiar surroundings so if you require someone to stay at your house during the day as I won't be able to do long overnight stays as I have a dog who has a bit of anxiety when I'm not there at night. I will be more than willing to answer any &amp; all questions before you commit to anything i’m also happy to meet you and your dog(s) before hand as I believe trust is the most important thing.

Our garden is fenced on all 3 sides and surrounded by gardens inall directions. We crate our family dogs, but are able to take care of dogs whoare not crate trained. We do not allow dogs upstairs, due to concerns overtheir joints.&nbsp;&nbsp;

We offer Drop-in Visits. 30 / 60 minute slots 
During a typical drop-in, I will arrive at your home and spend ~30mins caring for your pet. This can include feeding, giving medications, lettingthem out to use the bathroom, lots of cuddles and treats, or even just layingdown next to them to comfort them.&nbsp;&nbsp;
A drop-in is different from a walk, in that during a walk, theentire time is devoted to being on the leash and hitting the pavement (orgravel). Walks do not include feeding or medications, as the primary focus ison getting out energy and providing mental/physical stimulation.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Boarding in our home - drop off and pick up available.  
I will take your precious pet into our home and treat them like apart of our family. I will send you frequent updates and pictures during theirstay with us. I will tailor their stay with us to their usual schedule and yourbespoke requirements. We crate our own dogs and have spare crates available. We are more than happy to board dogs who are not crate trained. We do not allow dogs upstairs as stairs are bad for dogs joints. We do allow dogs on our furniture. We have a daily schedule for our own dogs but are more than happy to accomodate your own dogs' schedules.
