I am a cat owner and currently my 2 boys are 16. I've had them both from 6m from the Cats Shelter, I took 2 brothers as didn't want to separate them.Both are spoilt, enjoy weekly catnip sessions and have their own snuggle blankets and they get a groom once a week.I've walked dogs in my local area helping out when people have been busy, a couple of times per week walking off road on the moor, somewhere nice and quiet, green and away from traffic but also walks on trails and parks.I used to work at Guide Dogs for the Blind so always had a puppy or adult dog next to my desk, and I helped out in kennels - doing dog walks, cleaning, grooming, medication and taking temps. Quite often kennels were full and some dogs got scared being in kennels so I brought them home for the odd overnight stay giving them a break.I work F/T so would be looking to offer my services either in the mornings, evenings or weekends.  I'm looking for a few customers rather than lots so that so I can get to know each animal's personality, and likes etc. and build a regular customer base. I am hoping to do this full time at some point and feel it suits my personality as I'm caring, love animals,  a pet owner myself, a keen walker/runner and like being outdoors.I would be delighted to feed your cats, check they are ok and spend some time with them or take your dog for a walk and feed/groom them.I feel confident with most pets though don't have much experience of large/strong dogs so would prefer small and medium dogs. I will be taking care of your cat at your place when you are travelling or busy at work. At my visit, I will play with them, spend time, give food, change water, litter cleaning, brush hair any other thing you need. I will follow routine as you say. 
I'm also pleased to keep you informed about your pet while you're away. Messaging you with any updates, capturing photographs and videos of your pet, and sending them to you. I realise that even if they are just gone for a few hours, pet owners miss their fur babies a lot. I make you feel comfortable that your pet is being well cared for. I am sensitive and want to make other pet owners feel comfortable that your pet is properly cared.

Insurance policy.
Your dog must be sociable with others, well behaved and be up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
£35 per day per dog. The servive I offer is Boarding in my home while you are on holiday. Occasionally I can accept a day boarder if not booked up as a one off. The dogs boarding live in my home, not kennels, they have the "run off the place". They are allowed on the furniture. You can bring a bed / blanket / something familiar, I have beds etc too. They sleep any where they choose, their bed bed, one of my dog beds, curled up with each other, on the sofa or on my bed....they choose where they are comfortable.
&nbsp;We take two walks per day, up to an hour a day depending on breed requirement, weather etc. The dogs play in the garden with me and each other. In summer the back door is open to secure garden so they can choose to be in or out. If it is exceptionally hot they are walked very early and evening in the coolest parts of the day. As per licnce regulations you supply dog food to keep your dog on the same diet so their tummy is not upset. See my calendar for availability. Dogs are seperated at feeding times behind the baby gates.&nbsp;
For cat pop in visits I feed them, clean litter trays, check all are eating healthy, un injured and give them a cuddle if they come for one. The back garden has astro turf, a five foot fence and a locked gate. I will stay around 20 to 30 minutes depending on requirements and amount of things to do at your request.
There is cctv front and back. I do not have another job. I spend all my time with the dogs, walking, feeding, grooming, playing, washing bedding, bathing dogs when needed. Dogs are dryed after walks if raining or been in a stream.Cleaned off if muddy. I only leave the dogs to pop to the shop if I am confident they will not be anxious. In that case dogs are seperated by baby gates in seperate rooms. My main food shop comes to my door. There is a lot of planning ahead to ensure your dogs are safe, happy and healthy. Dogs are cared for the most part 24/7. My licence dictates that dogs are not left unattended for more than 3 hours, quite honestly there is no way I would leave dogs from different homes unattended for longer than 30 minutes even though i seperate them.&nbsp;
I have a dog sitter to come and sit with the dogs if nessecary and an emergency contact can be called in too. I am canine first aid trained, have all the required fire safety equipment. There are no children in my home, no dogs of my own, no catts, no small animals. I board up to 4 dogs at a time.
I can administer oral medications and give insulin injections.&nbsp;
In all cases I will need to see an up to date vaccination card and require your vets details incase of emergency.&nbsp;
Please see photo gallery to see dogs living and co habiting together, out on walks, snuggled on the sofa with me etc. Your dog must get on with others in general eg when you are out on walks, dogs will either play together or not bother with another dog, maybe give a warning and move on. As long as your dog is not aggresive to other dogs or humans they can board here. I arrange to meet you and your dog as per licence rules before accepting a booking.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hello, I am a new arrival in the United Kingdom. I have just started a job as a professor at the school of computing in the University of Leeds. Outside of work, my interests include travel and music: I played in orchestras for a long time, but these days most of my music-making involves the guitar, which I have been playing for about five years.Previously I lived in Wellington, New Zealand. My pet there was a 17-year-old cat named Wibbly. Wibbly moved in with me when a family friend was no longer able to look after him. He required medication every day for his hyperthyrodism and also needed a strict diet of renal-care food so I am accustomed to high-maintenance animals.I am trying to get to know the city of Leeds, my new home, and I miss the company of cats! So if I can explore some neighbourhoods while looking after pets, that would be all the better. I am interested in house-sitting for medium or long periods. I have experience with cats, but I also am very comfortable with dogs. I am neat and keep a tidy house. I feel that I can get on well with any pet, even if that means leaving them alone and respecting their space.

As someone who walks a lot I know multiple places all of varying lengths I can go to for walks with your pets to make sure they will be receiving the best enrichment possible. I can take your dog on a walk in multiple places. All of varying lengths to fit the dogs needs. The places I will be going to will be Harewood House, Gledhow Forest, Thruscross Resovoir
Pet visits for check- ins 1-2 times a day:
Here I will come in to your house and visit your pet. I will stay for about 30-45 mins and feed, play and give them attention.
So to avoid wasting time I live in Harehills and do not own a car. This means you must drop your pet off with me unless you are within a suitable distance to walk. If a car will be used I shall be getting a lift from my grandparents who have joined me in walking people's dogs in the past and continue to do so. They also owned multiple dogs in their lifetime so understand the behaviour well.&nbsp;
