My family have always had cats and I love them! We currently have two – an elderly rescue cat called Lola and a 2 year old Maine Coon called Lottie.&nbsp;
In addition to looking after my own cats, I volunteered at a local cat rescue centre for several years, helping to look after stray and rescued cats and kittens, which included cleaning their litter trays and cages, and lots of cuddles! I have lots of experience of looking after very nervous cats as well as new born and very young kittens.&nbsp;
As well as feeding your cat(s) and giving them lots of love and attention, I’m happy to do any other cat-related tasks such as dealing with litter trays, grooming, medication etc.&nbsp;I have lots of experience administering oral medication, as my cat Lola requires it twice a day. I normally spend around 30 minutes to an hour with your cat(s) during each visit.
I’m also able to look after small animals such as rats, guinea pigs etc. I had two rats of my own until very recently and am happy to handle them as much as they like and make sure they have plenty of enrichment while you are away.
If you need help with any other household tasks while you are on holiday please just ask – I can water plants, pick up post, deal with bins etc and generally make sure your house and pets are well looked after!
I live in St Andrews Bristol and can cover any area I can walk or easily get the bus to (currently this is mostly Bishopston, Cotham and Redland). Please note - I am currently at uni, so am only in Bristol during the holidays, but I do normally have lots of availability then (at Christmas, Easter and over the summer). Hi! My names Amber. I’m a caring and friendly animal lover who treats all animals with love, kindness and respect. 

I’ve had pets for all of my life and I currently own a lively young whippet called Olive and a 9 year old guinea pig, Cindy. However I do have experience caring for a wider range of animals as I previously have owned cats, rabbits, hamsters, corn snakes, bearded dragons, fish and even horses! 

I miss not having cats of my own so in the past when I have been a cat sitter for friends or neighbours I’ve really enjoyed spending time with their cats and getting to know their individual characteristics whilst caring for them. 

When looking after your pet, whether it be a dog, cat, rodent or reptile you won’t have to worry about them not receiving the care they deserve. I treat all animals with kindness and my compassionate, gentle nature encourages pets to feel comfortable around me. 

I work full time and my job requires me at the office in Clifton from 8am-4:30pm which means I can be available for evenings and/or weekends. 
Living in Long Ashton means I’m happy to look after pets in Bristol but also in areas such as Nailsea, Backwell or Clevedon. I drive and have my own car. 

My Services:

Visits: 
I can visit your pet(s) at their home for a minimum of 30 minutes anytime after 5:30pm on week days or anytime on weekends. I’m happy to send you pictures/updates whilst you’re away and can also water plants and bring post in if you require me to do so. 

House Sitting:
I can look after your pet(s) at their home, including overnight - please note I’m only able to do this over weekends due to work commitments.

I work as a freelance HR and Learning consultant working remotely for the majority of my clients. I have recently relocated to Bath from Berkshire and live alone in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with an enclosed garden. My travel schedule means that I don't have the opportunity to have my own pets, although I would love to someday, so housesitting and petsitting have been a great way to be connected to some wonderful animals. I have been a TrustedHousesitter for over 3 years now and have looked after pets and homes from the USA to Australia, and everywhere in between!
Being in the house for the majority of the time when I'm here means I have a good amount of time to look after pets and they will not be left for longer than 3 hours. Pets will sleep downstairs in the living room or / kitchen - as they prefer. I cannot supervise pets 24 / 7 so my home would not be suitable for a pet with severe separation anxiety and they must be able to be by themselves without barking for prolonged periods of time as this will cause a disturbance to my neighbours. 
My house has a good sized enclosed garden with a locked secure gate. Through the gate there is access to a wonderful park perfect for a game of chase or to begin a walk along the river. I stay connected with pet owners through WhatsApp and send many updates and selfies throughout the day (sometimes too many!) so that you can see your pet is well and having fun!
If boarding in my home, I can administer medication to pets (non injectables) and will only board one dog at a time unless they are from the same family in which case I can take two. 
Walks are 30 - 45 minutes long and are typically on either side of the day along with some play sessions in the garden during the day. I have space in the fridge and freezer for their food (if required) and also keep grain free Pooch and Mutt treats on hand for walks etc. Please do let me know if your dog has any allergies and if so, please bring enough food for the full stay including treats. Please also let me know if there is any food that they cannot eat.
If visiting pet(s) at your home, visits are 30 minutes however if I can do a bit of work / take a work call whilst I'm with your pet I am happy to stay a bit longer dependant on my schedule. I am very vigilant with regards to home security and will discuss any specific procedures (alarms / keys / doors etc.) with you as needed.
Please note I use a few different apps for pet and housesitting therefore dates will always need to be checked even if showing as free on my calendar. I will respond to every message - please do get in touch to enquire.


We are a couple from New Zealand looking for house sitting. I am a small animal veterinarian locuming in the area 4 days per week. My partner is stay-at-home full time and will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. We both have years of experiance caring for pets big and small, having owned cats, dogs, and horses.
