I have looked after doggies/cats for most of my life, I have taken care of my own furry friends and others', tasks included feeding them, keeping them company, playing and walking with them, cleaning after them, etc. I also did animal rescue in Argentina (mostly stray dogs and cats) between the years 2011 and 2019, in those years I have learned so much that I feel very competent and confident when it comes to looking after dogs or cats. People and friends have told me that they could see the special connection I have with animals.

Besides pet-sitting, I have a part time job, usually doing 25-30 hours per week and I share my flat with family. Whenever I’m at work, the doggies/cats I look after will stay at home with my family until I’m back. My family will keep them company and make sure everything is OK, though, their walks, play time and day-to-day care would be my responsibility. Sometimes doggies/cats could also stay by themselves for a few hours if my family needs to go out and I’m at work. The duration of my shifts at work may vary, they could be 4/6/8 hours long. In addition, I may have 3 or 4 days off a week.

I can look after doggies at my place, which is a flat in Boscombe. I have gardens, parks and the beach close by for their daily exercise and for potty breaks. Or, I could look after doggies or cats at yours, in their surroundings. Overnights or just for the day. I will take them for walks and exercise around your area, or in parks or the beach. I will carefully follow any requests that you give me regarding their care and needs. I can also drop by for walks, the length of these can be discussed. 

If you would like sitting services outside the BCP area (I’m willing to drive up to a 20 miles radius outside Bournemouth town), I’m happy to do it however, I would add petrol cost.

I love to play with them when it’s playing time and love to cuddle with them when it’s snuggle time. Also, when walking doggies, I am very patient, letting them sniff and smell all around. I like walks and outdoor fun at parks and the beach. In addition, I can offer little trips and days out in nearby countryside or National Parks for your doggie if prearranged.

Let me know anything I need to be aware of about your doggie or cat. I usually prefer to focus on one doggie/cat at the time, so I will only be dealing with your doggie/cat in any time we spent together.

Hello! I am Angela and my base is the New Forest area, although I cover quite a large area; moreon that later. &nbsp;
I have been pet and house sitting part-time since 2016, and in February 2023 started doing it full-time. Although the majority of my clients have been dogs, I have also looked after cats, kittens, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, fish and horses.  I have been able to gain experience of looking after toy breeds, as well as large dogs.  I have looked after excited 4-month-old puppies, to dogs who are commencing their training journey, all the way through to very elderly dogs who are more leisurely in their exercise routine and require support with certain care and medical needs. &nbsp;
I have my own vehicle and have the appropriate business insurance to transport your pets if required.  I am DBS checked.  I also hold a Canine First Aid qualification.&nbsp;
I have lived in rural areas and most of my pet sits are in the forest or countryside, meaning I am used to being in remote places.  I have also looked after dogs in towns and cities.  I am in the fortunate positionthat I can travel quite far for my pet and house sits and I have had sits in Christchurch and Mudeford, throughout the New Forest, up to north of Salisbury (Stonehenge-way) and across towards Shaftesbury, as well as east to Portsmouth.  I can go further afield than this as well. &nbsp;
One of main hobbies is walking. I am sure to keep to the exercise, as well as the enrichment/play time, needs and routines of your pets, but if your dog(s) is up for an adventure, I love to explore local areas and new places so they can expect to be taken on a yomp with me. &nbsp;
Having previously spent 20 years working in social care environments, I am strict on security, safety and confidentiality. I take looking after your home seriously, and I understand the needs of homeowners in looking after their home, as well as their pets.  I am keen on communication to ascertain the full needs of your pets, and your home, so that I can look after them in the best way possible. I understand that leaving your pets in the care of someone else can feel unsettling for you, and sometimes your pets. I am rigorous on keeping to the routines and care plan of your pets, as well as giving them the time and play to get used to me, in order to help them settle quickly. I am in the lovely position that I have repeat pet sits and it is so heartwarming when the pets greet me in a friendly and open manner when I return. &nbsp;

If you are further afield, I will do a pre-sit virtual call with you so we can meet, talk through your pet(s) needs and I can get an understanding of your house and where important things, such as pet food, are stored. &nbsp;

In the Ringwood-Fordingbridge-Downton-Alderholt-Damerham-Rockbourne area, I can provide the following services: &nbsp;
- Adhoc/one-off dog walking (standard 1-hour longwalk), e.g. your regular dog walker is on holiday, you are ill and unable towalk your pooch(es) for a couple of days, you have a day trip planned.&nbsp;
- Cat/kitten/small animal (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rodents, fish, reptiles, chickens, etc) visits – let in/out, feed and fresh water, clean any mess and litter trays/cages/tanks/runs, etc, clean bowls, brush, cuddles, fuss and playtime. Chores such as plant watering and refuse disposal can be carried out as required. &nbsp;
