"Joanne was fantastic, after stepping in when our previous sitter had to cancel. She was great with the dogs and kept us informed of any issues. She also looked after the garden and left the house in an immaculate condition. We will definitely use her again and we have no hesitation in recommending her. She's a star! "

"Penny is an amazing pet sitter we have had her for 7 nights. She looked after our house and our dog. We couldn't wish anyone better than her, she was excellent with our dog and left our house very tidy and clean. I am so glad we met her, we will definitely book her again very soon 😊 💖 Thank you Penny 😊 "

"Elly watched our female Doberman while we went on a family holiday away for a week. Couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our pet. Elly was amazing. Came round a few times before we went away to get to know our dog and familiarise herself with everything. We had really good communication while we were away abroad with photos of our pet to see how she was doing. I highly recommend Elly and couldn’t have asked for more. We will certainly be using her again! If you want peace of mind and someone you can trust look no further then Elly!! "

"Billie was an absolutely fantastic pet sitter for my dog and two cats. She took wonderful care of them and made sure I felt at ease the entire time by sending regular updates and videos. She was easy to communicate with, always responsive, and clearly very attentive to my pets’ needs. I came home to a clean, tidy house and three very happy animals. I will definitely be using her again and can highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter."

"We recently used Pawshake for the first time and couldn’t be happier with our experience—especially thanks to our amazing pet sitter, Marta. As first-time users of a pet-sitting service, we were naturally a bit anxious about leaving our two Mainecoon cats but from the moment we met Marta, we felt completely at ease. She is warm, caring and incredibly professional. It was clear right away that she genuinely loves animals and would treat our cats as if they were her own. While we were away, Marta stayed in our home and took wonderful care of everything. She kept us updated with messages and photos and we returned to find two very happy, relaxed cats and a spotless house. It was obvious that they had been truly loved and well looked after. She even brought in some toys for them to play with which they absolutely loved! Marta went above and beyond in every way and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again in the future. We highly recommend Marta to anyone looking for reliable, kind and trustworthy pet care. Thank you so much ❤️"

"Sian has been brilliant. This was the first time looking after my 6 cats, including 2 elderly cats, each with their own specific needs, and another who had recently had major surgery and was on tablets and eye treatment several times a day. Sian took this all in her stride and still made time to keep everyone entertained with play and lots of cuddles. I was sent daily updates with lots of photos and videos and was kept informed when issues arise. I shall definitely be calling on Sian's services again."

"Kathy was great, excellent communications, both before and during her sitting for us and, very important, our dogs took to her and looked very relaxed in the photos she sent us whilst we were away. One of our pets needed some medication (tablets and eye drops) which she took in her stride. We felt very comfortable and confident leaving our pets and home in Kathy's care. Very happy and will happily ask her to dog sit again. "

Pawshake also offers house sitting in

Why house sitting ?

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Rochester home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Rochester.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Rochester home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Pet owners book house sitting in Rochester on Pawshake. Over 440 pet owners in Rochester have left a review, with an average of 4.96/5. All paid safely using Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, American Express
