Hi, my name is Julia and I am a vet student, which means I love animals so much I've decided to dedicate my professional life to them.Unfortunately, I can't have a pet on my own right now and I really miss having around me a cute floof with waggy tail, so I have decided that Pawshake could be a great way to make some new 4-legged friends while helping their owners at the same time. My schedule is quite flexible at the moment, so whether you need me to look after your pet in the morning or in the afternoon/evening, I can probably accomodate that.I have plenty of experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds and characters - with walking, dog-sitting and even agility training. I also have some experience with cats, mostly from volunteering in a shelter.&nbsp;I offer dog walking, drop in visits as well as house sitting. To make sure your pet knows me and is comfortable with me, I will arrange a meeting with you prior to taking care of your pet, during which I will ask you all about them and their preferences. This is to ensure your pet has the best time possible with me :)If I am taking your dog for a walk, I will ask you about the usual route and length of the walk, to make sure they get as much movement as they are used to. I will also ask about their social behaviour with other dogs, but also with people. When it comes to house visits, I am quite flexible and will tailor the service to what your pet needs. We can agree beforehand on how I should spend my time with them, for example if they should be let out to potty, fed or just cuddled for a bit. If needed, I am able to administer oral medications as well as injections. If we agree on house sitting, I will ask you about the typical day of your pet when you are at home and try to recreate that routine as much as possible to give them the sense of safety. I will be able to spend with them majority of the day, so I am sure they won't be lonely. My background and reasons for providing these services:After I left my full-time position in healthcare due to my disability and continuous work related stress so I've decided to do what I actually like plus still do something that could help others (like parents of fluffy ones who deserve their vacation without being worried about them!). I have always been a huge pet lover and I always wanted to work with pets. So after leaving my healthcare job I started doings things that actually give me joy; and looking after all kinds of pets is definitely something that was my dream since I was a child!&nbsp;&nbsp;I'm also happy to schedule last minute bookings so feel free to request your preferred days and services. Each day spent with your little one, I'll be sending you updates with photos/ videos included so that you can be sure that your kid is not stressed and feeling happy while you're away.&nbsp;&nbsp;

I live with my husband and our 4 cats and 4 ferrets in a 4-bedroom house. We have 4 bedrooms, a big back garden and a small front garden.&nbsp;


My main services:*any small animals like ferrets are very welcome to stay at my house!*
When requesting home visits- 
I can visit your pet as many times as you need during the day or night and stay with your pet from 30 mins up to 3 hours at a time. During this time, you can request any additional tasks such as walking outside (fordogs), cleaning litter (for cats), grooming or any other activity that is needed for your pet (feeding and playing are always included per visit). When requesting to stay at your home, I will be present at all times. I would only request additional payment for mileage if you're staying more than 20 miles away from me. The payment is fully negotiate.&nbsp;

If you need a long visit (min 4 hours), please let me know in advance. 
Administering oral medication can be done on request.&nbsp;



Picking up your dog for walks:&nbsp;
Dog walking can be requested from 30 mins and up to 2.5 hours and as many times a day as needed. I am insured for pet transportation via my car and I can pick up your dog whenever is needed. If you need me to walk your dog multiple times per the same day (for example if you are working a full day), I can take your dog to my home for a day and walk with them when requested (9am + 12pm + 3pm + 6pm etc).&nbsp;

Hi everyone! My name is Joe and my partner is Hannah, We live together in Glasgow with our 1 and a half year old toy schnoodle Fintan. We absolutely love dogs, and love having more than 1 dog in our house. Our own dog, Fintan, is very friendly with other dogs, and he will help to provide your dog with entertainment. We both work from home, so we will be at the house 24/7 with your dog, making sure to give them the care and attention that they deserve. We will also bring your dog(s) for plenty of walks during the day, and we have a back garden where they can run around and play, as well as go to the toilet. There is plenty of couch space and blankets for them to curl up and sleep, or we have an assortment of dog toys if this is what they fancy. We will also make sure to stick with their feeding schedule.

I have always been an animal lover, having grown up with dogs all my life and having worked at a refuge for cats and dogs in Greece run by my uncle. I have a natural affinity with animals and am very patient and caring. Having lifelong experience of looking after dogs, I am able to keep control of them during walks without resorting to shouting, and am very aware of the specific needs of different types of dog, whether that be lengths of walks or quantities of food. I have also looked after friends' cats while they've been away, and love to play with them and keep them company!
