I love going for walks, but going without a dog feels a bit strange.&nbsp;I adore canine company, and understand that dogs respond to calm, confidence and positivity. This includes a shelter environment, where many had behavioural problems and needed special care. I have often looked after friends' houses and pets while they are away on holiday. I have a lot of experience in caring for animals from childhood. I have volunteered for Dog and Cat Rescue in Koh Samui. I have rescued, fostered and rehomed numerous cats and dogs in need whilst living in Thailand, some photos are included in my profile, and I have hand-reared baby squirrels and birds in need. I exercise dogs often and as instructed and follow all instructions left for me. I am unable to care for dogs in my home at present. I have no pets at present for the first time in my life so it is a joy for me to pet sit. I understand how important it is for dogs to be outside on walks to smell all the scents that are so exciting and meaningful for them so lots of walks! If they are good at recall, once they know me and I have the owner's permission for the dog in my care to be off a lead in a park, then lots of ball games if they like that. If lead restricted then that will be respected..With cats, I behave in a way they are comfortable. If they come to me they will get as many strokes and cuddles as they want, but some cats can be more independent and aloof and I respect that. I am happy to play as often as they like to!

Feeding food (dry, wet, combination) and providing water, as these are basic health requirements.

- Checking up on their health: me monitoring them by examining how their litter waste looks like, fur, eyes, checking for any bumps or lumps, and overall behavioural check
