Hi there! My partner and I recently said goodbye to a foster dog (we had for 10+ months), so we're looking to make new 4 legged friends!
Our rescue foster had a fair amount of reactive and aggressive behaviours, but was so much better after 10 months with us. It really made us self-taught canine behaviour and training nerds, much more so than if we'd looked after a calmer dog. We've got lots of love to give now she's no longer living with us.
We sadly can't do overnight boarding at our house for your dog/s as we have 2 cats - but we'd love to look after your dog for the day, or half a day, taking them out and having adventures! We'd wan tto come meet you and your dog first and perhaps take them for a free trial walk, to make sure we're happy looking after them - and that they/you are happy with us looking after them. We're also happy to give oral medication if needed.
We both drive and live near the downs, so they can get as much or as little exercise and freedom as suits them, and that you're happy with. We can also collect and drop off your dog from your place.
We can't wait to meet them! :)

Around animals, I've always felt happy and at ease. For this reason, when I was living in Colombia, I made the decision to adopt a cat named Bora and a dog named Lucky. I recently moved to Brighton, and because I miss my pets so much, I signed up with Pawshake to share my love for pets. I have had Bora and Lucky for more than five years, which has given me extensive knowledge of pets needs, behaviors, and level of care.&nbsp;
Along with cuddling with cats at home, I enjoy going for walks and playing outside with dogs. I would try my best training them and perhaps spoiling them. I work remotely so that I can even take care of pets during the time I'm working, for this reason my availability is the whole day, from the morning to the evening.
I am a pet owner so I know how to take care of them on a normal level. The daily work (brushing, grooming, playing, walking and training to do the basic). But also I can care in the bad times when they are sick I can administer oral medications. Especially I know about cats and dogs.&nbsp;
I can do home visits, weekends I can do the whole day if need it. I work in local time so afternoons and evenings would be great for me. But if there is an emergency and you need me in the morning I would be willing as long as you don't mind me working from there.&nbsp;
I love to spend time walking dogs. Usually if the dog is sociable I can play ball for hours. But if the dog has some social problems I prefer to walk them for an hour. I usually do not like to take the same route because I know the dog will get bored.&nbsp;
I can also offer house sitting if needed. As long as the owner who leaves is the same person who comes back is fine with me. Meanwhile I can help you with small pending tasks such as watering plants, turning off household appliances, receiving correspondence. You can trust me to look after your home as if it were my own. I have often looked after friends' houses and pets while they are away on holiday. I have a lot of experience in caring for animals from childhood. I have volunteered for Dog and Cat Rescue in Koh Samui. I have rescued, fostered and rehomed numerous cats and dogs in need whilst living in Thailand, some photos are included in my profile, and I have hand-reared baby squirrels and birds in need. I have owned cats and dogs, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters and a tortoise.I have been a petsitter for 2 years now and have repeat clients. I work through Pawshake and other apps and have my own petsitting Facebook page.
I exercise dogs often and as instructed and follow all instructions left for me. I am unable to care for dogs in my home at present. I have no pets at present for the first time in my life so it is a joy for me to pet sit. I respect clients' houses and always keep them clean and tidy and am happy to water plants and gardens if required. I am reliable, trustworthy and will treat your house with respect.
I understand how important it is for dogs to be outside on walks to smell all the scents that are so exciting and meaningful for them so lots of walks! If they are good at recall, once they know me and I have the owner's permission for the dog in my care to be off a lead in a park, then lots of ball games if they like that. If lead restricted then that will be respected..With cats, I behave in a way they are comfortable. If they come to me they will get as many strokes and cuddles as they want, but some cats can be more independent and aloof and I respect that. I am happy to play as often as they like to!
