I've been a dog walker for 3 years and a pet sitter for 2 years. As a dog walker I walk different breeds and sizes and know how to deal with each dog as an individual. I'm experienced with rescue dogs and have 2 of my own. I offer a dog sitting service in your dogs home environment so they feel safe and comfortable. I'm trustworthy and have experience in pet sitting my dog walking clients. I also have plenty of experience with dogs of all ages and can adapt the day to meet the individual dogs needs. If your dog has a routine that you would like me to stick to I am happy to follow that. Due to me being a full time dog walker I can only do pet sitting if you are within my area. Hi! My name is Ida and I live in Southampton with my partner and our cat Elrond.

I've had cats all my life, which has made me a massive cat lover and given me a lot of knowledge about how to look after them so they stay happy and healthy. Although I'm new to Pawshake, I have been a cat sitter for almost two years. Having looked after many different cats, I appreciate that every cat has its own lovely personality and individual needs. You can count on me to offer your cat lots of cuddles, but also respect their personal space!

I'm responsible, organised and reliable, and my schedule is flexible as I work from home.

It's important to me that your cat feels safe and happy. If you book me as your cat sitter, I will arrange to meet with you and your cat beforehand for free, give your cat fresh food and water daily, clean the bowls and litter trays, make lots of time for play and cuddles, and send you daily updates and photos.
I'm also happy to water the plants, collect the post and take the bins out if needed.

I am 21 years old, doing a degree from home and pet-sitting on the side. I have always loved animals of all kinds from a young age. This has led to me dog-sitting, cat-sitting (and even lizard-sitting!) for family and friends for approximately 5 years. I have a golden labrador who is now 12 years old, so I also have experience of living with a dog. I have looked after a number of dogs and cats, ranging from pop-in visits and walks to staying at people's houses for extended periods to keep pets company and provide them care. Cats and dogs are the animals I have the most experience with, but provided I have the right information about the care of an animal I am open to any pet. I have looked after a bearded dragon for a few nights, but this is the most exotic pet I have cared for. I also have a pet giant african land snail (an archachatina marginata ovum called Norris). I completed a dog training extracurricular course at secondary school which has provided me with a more well-rounded understanding of the care and attention dogs require. Looking after animals is a passion of mine and animals are a really important part of my life, so interacting with them and caring for them as a profession is a dream come true! I can only pet-sit at your own home due to living in shared accommodation and having a dog of my own. I cannot pet-sit if you have guinea pigs due to a serious allergy. I'm Robin. I'm a 25 year old pet sitter located in Southsea, I have lived here for about 6 months. I love all types of animals. I grew up on a mini farm with animals including the usual cats and dogs, but also goats, chickens, ducks, llamas, horses, rabbits, hamsters, lizards, fish and one grumpy turtle. I have experience both with taking care of my own critters and pet sitting for others.
I haven't had pets of my own since moving from the US to the UK, so I have much animal love to give and few to give it too. I am, of course, quite happy to do all aspects of pet care needed, from cleaning litter boxes, to feeding, to cuddles and walks. I am comfortable with animals of all ages, from little excitable puppies or sneaky kittens vying for their first peek of the outdoors to old lumbering dogs and wizened cats. I am fully aware that different animals have different preferences when it comes to people and affection and can easily adapt to whatever they need, whether that be space or excited cuddles.
I also don't mind keeping up other household chores you need whilst you're away (picking up your post, taking out the bins, watering plants, etc.) And sending you updates and any adorable photos you need to prevent pet withdrawal.

Being out in the open and exploring the beautiful countryside is such a wonderful thing to be able to do especially living in the Isle of Wight! I have been a dog sitter since the age of 16. This was when I had the opportunity to look after my next-door neighbour's dog every weekend. I was very focused on making sure the owner was happy with the routine I had set out for her dog so that the dog would feel at ease in everyday life with their owner.  
I have worked with some very sound anxious dogs that bark at the smallest of noises, by overcoming their troubles I like to get more familiar with everyone a few weeks in advance before the house sitting begins just so you the owner &amp; dog get to know me more for you're own reassurance.
