"Aileen was an absolute dream. She came round to the house before I went away to check that we would both be happy and I could tell instantly that she would be very good with the cats. The cats are actually still kittens and had only recently started going outside so I was a bit apprehensive about leaving them but Aileen was brilliant with them and made sure they came in at night and even saved one of them when he got stuck in my neighbour’s garden! 100% would recommend her and I will be booking her again next time I need a cat sitter! 10/10 "

"We'd had a hectic year and were looking forward to the summer holidays. However, the person who usually looks after our pets had started an apprenticeship, so wouldn't be able to help us. Prices for someone to look after two dogs, two cats (one that needs medication) and a snake can be quite steep. I decided to try Pawshake to find someone that would do homesitting, and after contacting a few people, Maria got back to me. We followed up with a visit and a booking. Throughout our holidays, she sent me daily pictures of our pets, and even the most difficult ones warmed up to her, which is surprising, since they don't even get that close to me. The dogs, especially, were very happy with Maria. They were given regular walks, cuddles and even got to watch the 2026 World Cup Final (which was a bit of a let down, to be honest, but they don't know that much about football, anyway). Maria was great, she kept the house clean and washed the things she used during her final day. I felt much more comfortable with her than anything I had expected. She will definitely be on our minds next time we're planning some time away."

"Julie looked after our two cats for a week and we couldn’t have had a better experience! From the initial contact we knew we were in good hands; excellent communication, knowledgable and honest. Julie took such good care of our cats and house and provided regular updates and photo’s. One of our cats is very anxious around strangers but Julie made extra effort with him and managed to make him comfortable, she is now one of only a few people he will purr and lounge with! 10/10 recommend Julie a wonderful cat sitter! "Jasmin was great! I booked her last minute after my original dog sitter cancelled and I wasn’t sure how it would go, but honestly she was amazing. "Lucia looked after our dog, Frizzi, and our home while we were away in Italy for a week. From the moment we met her, we knew we could completely trust her with both Frizzi and the house. She sent us daily updates, kept us informed, and asked questions whenever needed, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away.
