*I am relocating to Portsmouth in May and will be restarting my dog walking business there, so cannot take on new regular London clients at this time*I have loved dogs all my life and grew up with various breeds including a Labrador, Border Collie, Grey Hound, Lurcher, Springer Spaniel and whippets. Since I started walking dogs in London 4 years ago I have looked after many, many other breeds though, from Bichon Frise to Bernese Mountain Dog and I think all breeds have their own lovely special qualities. I particularly love Staffies for instance and am very confident with any strength or size. Every dog has their own wants, habits and physical limitations so I tailor walks according to that particular dog's needs (be it a high-powered walk covering lots of ground, lots of ball play or a very slow meander close to home) therefore I don't offer pack walks. If there is more than one dog from the same household of course and they enjoy walking together then that is different and I am very happy to walk more than one in those situations.So if for whatever reason you are unable to take your furry best friend out as much as you would like to or need someone to dog sit while you are away or just at work please get in touch!Happy to provide references upon request.

I have had pets my whole life including cats, Guinea pigs rabbits, and a dog. Recently my dog passed away leaving me with a bit of empty nest syndrome! I have been trusted since I was an early teen to walk neighbours dogs and do pop in visits. Now as an adult, I do a lot of house sitting and live in pet sitting that I’ve secured through word of mouth. I have experience pet sitting both dogs and cats - including large dogs and cats which require medication. As well as this, my dog was diabetic so I am comfortable and experienced  with administering jabs and other medications.

I currently work 33.75 hours a week from Monday to Friday. This means that four days a week I will be working 0800 - 1600 and on one day I will work 0800 - 1145. The shorter day is usually not designated until the week before however it is often flexible. I am usually around at weekends with the occasional social trip out however if I am pet sitting I will aim to adjust my availability around your pets needs.

I feel like I am a very loving and affectionate person and I love to give animals attention. I am very comfortable around all animals. I am a very active person so I am happy to go on long walks or multiple walks a day.

Hi! My name is Ida and I live in Southampton with my partner and our cat Elrond.

I've had cats all my life, which has made me a massive cat lover and given me a lot of knowledge about how to look after them so they stay happy and healthy. Although I'm new to Pawshake, I have been a cat sitter for almost two years. Having looked after many different cats, I appreciate that every cat has its own lovely personality and individual needs. You can count on me to offer your cat lots of cuddles, but also respect their personal space!

I'm responsible, organised and reliable, and my schedule is flexible as I work from home.

It's important to me that your cat feels safe and happy. If you book me as your cat sitter, I will arrange to meet with you and your cat beforehand for free, give your cat fresh food and water daily, clean the bowls and litter trays, make lots of time for play and cuddles, and send you daily updates and photos.
I'm also happy to water the plants, collect the post and take the bins out if needed.

I have been a dog sitter since the age of 16. This was when I had the opportunity to look after my next-door neighbour's dog every weekend. I was very focused on making sure the owner was happy with the routine I had set out for her dog so that the dog would feel at ease in everyday life with their owner.

I am a 28 year old female that works from home full time as an International Technologist in the food industry working flexible hours, which means i can offer round the clock care, cuddles &amp; walks to pets.&nbsp;Our base is in Hythe, set by the beach with lovely walks and pet-friendly areas on our doorstep but i travel around a lot in the UK doing full time house sitting with my partner who is a garden landscaper / labourer.We love exploring new places and adore animals so house sitting suits us down to a tee.We have been full time house sitters for the last 6 months, slowly working our way round the UK and have done so back to back with out any breaks. We have experience of staying in a variety of houses and have looked after animals of all shapes &amp; sizes from cockapoos to german shepherd's and malamute dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, chickens &amp; ducks, fish (including cold water, tropical &amp; pond) and even alpacas. We also have handfuls of experience of administrating medication to dogs &amp; cats, from pills to injection. I am 21 years old, doing a degree from home and pet-sitting on the side. I have always loved animals of all kinds from a young age. This has led to me dog-sitting, cat-sitting (and even lizard-sitting!) for family and friends for approximately 5 years. I have a golden labrador who is now 12 years old, so I also have experience of living with a dog. I’ve always had a dog since I was a small child. Big ones, little ones, naughty ones, smart ones, pure breeds and mongrels! All were special to me in their own way and gave me much joy. After losing my most recent terrier to old age, I started to look after friends and neighbours dogs to fill the gap left by the lack of wet nose and paw prints and then decided to set up my own business ‘Woofmother’. I have looked after a variety of dogs over the years, particularly nervous dogs, those with separation anxiety, behavioural issues and those who find difficulty with social interaction (whether with humans or other dogs). I offer pet-sitting services in your home, drop-ins and dog walking. For drop-ins, I can administer medication, feed, walk, play, empty litter trays or just provide company and cuddles. I can do day sits, evening sits or overnight sits. I can walk your dog for half an hour or an hour depending on their needs. This includes solo walking and walking in secure dog parks for particularly reactive dogs.

I'm 19 years old (turning 20 in June). I have been doing dog walking/walks from when I was 11 and could go out and walk dogs :). I've walked dogs for friends and family as-well as people I've never met and even with aggressive/shy or anxious dogs I do really well to keep them calm and stay away from what triggers them. Dogs to me are like people like me and you and the energy you give off to a dog will effect the way they act or behave! I like to keep calm in situations where the dogs might not be the most comfortable E.g. meeting/seeing dogs or seeing other animals/vehicles or even people. No dog is a bad dog maybe unless they do a 1 or 2 on the carpet but overall all big dogs or small, fat or slim, anxious or confident I love all dogs :) I have had anxious dogs not be anxious and also dogs which react to certain things not because you have to keep calm and give them good energy:)
