Hi there! We’re Sherina and Carly, a friendly, reliable mother-daughter team based in the beautiful coastal village of Aberdour, Fife.

We offer personalised dog walking and house sitting, giving your pets the love, attention and companionship they deserve while you’re away.

We understand that leaving your beloved pets with someone new can feel daunting. Our aim is to make the experience as stress-free as possible, keeping your pets happy, comfortable and secure in their familiar surroundings.

Companionship Throughout the Day

As a Travel Coach working remotely, Sherina is laptop-based and can spend much of the day at home during house sits. This means your pets won’t be left alone for long periods and can enjoy regular attention, playtime, cuddles and companionship.

Personalised Walks & Exercise

We specialise in individual walks rather than large group outings, allowing us to give your dog our full attention. Whether your pet enjoys energetic coastal adventures or gentle strolls with plenty of sniffing opportunities, we’ll adapt to their age, fitness, temperament and usual routine.

Walks can typically be arranged for 30 or 60 minutes, with longer outings discussed where appropriate.

A Familiar Routine

We know how important consistency is for animals. We’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walking, playtime, rest and bedtime, helping your pets feel settled and secure.

We’re equally happy caring for energetic dogs who love exploring and older pets who prefer a quieter pace.

Safety & Peace of Mind

Your pet’s wellbeing is always our priority. We’ll discuss their individual needs, behaviour, health requirements and emergency contacts before accepting a booking.

We’ll follow your instructions regarding leads, exercise restrictions and interactions with other animals. If anything unexpected happens, we’ll contact you promptly and seek veterinary assistance when necessary.

If your pet requires medication or additional care, please let us know so we can discuss their needs and whether we’re able to accommodate them safely.

Respectful House Sitting

We don’t just care for your pets, we look after your home too!

We’re happy to collect post, water plants, put bins out and keep your property clean, tidy and secure while you’re away.

We’ve both grown up with a love of animals and have hands-on experience caring for pets with different personalities, ages and energy levels.

From playful pups who need plenty of stimulation to senior companions who appreciate a gentler approach, we understand that every animal is unique.

Although we’re new to Pawshake, we’re not new to caring for animals, and we bring a responsible, attentive and compassionate approach to every booking.

Sherina’s professional background in education, mentoring and coaching has also developed strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, qualities we believe are just as important when someone entrusts us with their pets and home.

We know how reassuring it is to see that your pets are happy while you’re away.

We’ll provide regular photo updates and messages, letting you know how they’re getting on, what they’ve been up to and how they’re settling into their day.

Every pet is different, so we’ll always adapt to your usual routine. A typical day might include:

• Morning feeding, fresh water and a walk
• Relaxed companionship while Sherina works remotely
• Playtime, enrichment activities and toilet breaks
• An afternoon or evening walk tailored to your pet
• Evening feeding, cuddles and settling down for bedtime
• A photo update so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind
