Hi I'm Sarah. I'm a very calm reiki practitioner and animal communicator with gentle energy, who's grown up with dogs, and as an adult have continued to enjoy caring for dogs as well as cats, hamsters, gerbils, birds etc. I currently live with my bearded dragon Hercules and my leopard gecko Sophie, who are now both enjoying their senior years.

As well as my own and my family's pets, I've been looking after client's dogs for 5 years, offering walks, home care visits, and overnight sitting at their homes. The dogs enjoy cuddles, home comforts and their usual routine while their owners are away from home, and the owners enjoy peace of mind knowing their pets are having a fun time too.

I can prepare meals, groom, give medication, enjoy walks, playtime and lots of cuddles (if tolerated) and will adjust my level of interaction to suit each pet's needs and personalities.

Recently I was blessed with caring for my own senior dog with a terminal illness, so I'm experienced and very happy to care for senior, post surgery, less able and terminally ill pets, who may need some extra time and tlc.

I enjoy small or medium sized dogs, and like to walk them on-lead until I feel confident that they know me well enough for good recall, and that I can keep them totally safe. I offer a one-to-one service and only walk dogs from the same family together.

As a mature, reliable and experienced pet sitter, I offer:-

Local home visits, for as long as you want, tailored to your pet's needs

Day time and evening walks

Overnight sitting in the pet's home for short breaks or longer holidays

I am DBS checked as I also offer childcare, have recently completed a certificated course on understanding and supporting brachycephalic (short faced) dog breeds and am renewing my canine first aid in November 2026.
