"Flavia is an absolute gem! She looked after my dog, Snoopy, for four nights and did an amazing job. She kept in touch regularly with updates and adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Flavia and her partner are very conscious about what they feed the dogs, carefully checking ingredients, and their knowledge about dogs is impressive.
Snoopy bonded wonderfully with their friendly dog, and it was clear he had a fantastic time. Flavia is caring, responsible, and truly passionate about what she does. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again—she’s a treasure on Pawshake! Highly recommend!"

"Joanne was amazing; from communicating with her to arrange the initial intro meeting to her regular 'pupdates' whilst we were away, Joanne was very forthcoming. For the 10 days that Scout stayed with her, Joanne took her in as a member of her family; she took the time and patience to gently coax our slightly nervous dog until she was completely comfortable. It was like a home from home for Scout, in fact I think Scout is really missing Joanne since we got home! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joanne's dog boarding service and will be definitely asking Joanne if Scout can stay with her again."

"Imogen was a great success dog sitting for a 2 year old German short haired pointer (GSP) - Milo. From meeting a shy and protective large dog, Imogen gained Milo's confidence very quickly. "Our Newfador, Cyrille, had a lovely relaxing stay with Anu. Anu offers beautiful surroundings and spacious garden, plus ready access to nearby countryside walks.
There was only one other dog around for the bulk of his stay, Anu's own, adding to a calm, tranquil atmosphere.
If you are looking for your dog to have the equivalent of a canine 18-30 holiday with lots of other dogs and incessant play, then this is not the place!
If, however, you are looking for a peaceful environment, having your "best friend" well cared for but not overstimulated, then Anu's is perfect .
If I was being picky, it may be good for Anu to take 3 dogs more regularly (2 guest dogs plus her own), to give a better balance of calm vs play. This may be especially attractive where the dog guests are younger and need more activity.
Overall we were very happy with how it worked out and would certainly look to return in future.

"Viki looked after our dog for just over a week and while I know he was not to impressed to start with, (he can be a bit of a grump at times!) Viki persevered and won him over. We have never needed to use a service like this before but we were left feeling at ease and the daily photos and updates left us feeling reassured.
