Hi! I am your Pawsome Pet Carer, Lorna :)

Growing up, I was always surrounded by family pets. My first pet was my Mum and Dad's standard sized short hair Dachshund. My doggy best-friend, Angus the English Springer Spaniel, joined our family was I was a young child. Memories of walks through woods, rivers and parks with Angus are some of my favourite childhood memories, as well as the times we grew up together just playing in our home.

My Mum and Dad are definitely dog-people, and as me and my sister got older we adopted another Springer Spaniel, Badger. We had him as a puppy, and taught him commands and socialising skills until he went to complete his police-dog training. Shortly after we introduced a miniature long haired Dachshund into our family. As well as being a proud owner of gerbils, I enjoyed playing with my cousins guinea pigs and was always roped into cleaning out their hutch.

Now I live away from where I grew up, I am the very proud (and a little obsessed!) owner of 2 gorgeous kitties, Thomas and Ozzy. Along with my boyfriend Adam, we live in Hethe, Oxon.

Working full time in public service I appreciate the importance of home security while away on holiday, which is why I am pleased to offer the pet

and

house sitting service.

I know just how hard it is to go out to work, knowing your new family member is at home eager to play. I also remember the worried feeling the first time I planned to go away for a night, wondering what to do with the kittens.

That is really what inspired me to find

Pawsome Pets! I want all owners to know their pet is well looked after and know that all pets are happy, comfortable and having fun.
