I’ve never owned a dog myself because I travel frequently, but I have plenty of hands-on experience looking after dogs belonging to friends and family. Over the years, I’ve helped with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from calm lapdogs to energetic or shy pups, and I’ve learned how important it is to adjust my approach to each dog’s personality. My mum regularly takes in foster dogs, and whenever I’m back home in Italy, I help care for them by walking them, playing with them, and giving them attention and structure. I make sure to follow any routines owners provide, including feeding schedules, walks, and playtime, and I pay close attention to their behavior to keep them comfortable and relaxed. I enjoy spending time with dogs, helping shy or nervous pets feel safe, and giving energetic dogs a fun, engaging outlet. I prioritize safety, consistency, and companionship, making sure each dog feels happy, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.
