Hi, I'm Lola! I'm a caring, reliable, and trustworthy pet lover with over six years of experience caring for my own miniature Dachshund, as well as experience looking after cats. I understand that every pet is unique, so I always take the time to learn about their personality, routine, likes and dislikes, and any specific requirements before caring for them.

I adapt my care to suit each pet. For energetic dogs, I'm happy to provide longer walks and plenty of playtime, while older or less active dogs can enjoy a slower-paced walk with lots of opportunities to sniff and explore. If your pet is nervous, shy, or reactive, I'll be patient, use calm handling, avoid stressful situations where possible, and help them build confidence at their own pace. I'm also happy to reinforce any basic training you're already working on, such as loose lead walking, sit, stay, recall, or rewarding good behaviour, ensuring I follow your usual commands and routines for consistency.

My typical dog walks last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your dog's needs, and I'm available for dog walking, home visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. During home visits, I'll follow your pet's usual routine by refreshing water, preparing meals as instructed, cleaning litter trays or picking up after dogs, providing companionship, playtime, and affection, and making sure your pet is settled before I leave. I'll also keep an eye on their behaviour, appetite, and overall wellbeing, and I'll contact you straight away if I notice anything out of the ordinary.

I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I'll always send regular photo and video updates after each visit or walk, giving you complete peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and loved, treating them with the same patience, kindness, and care that I give my own.

Your pet's safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I'm happy to administer oral medication as instructed and will carefully follow any routines or medical requirements. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I'll stay calm, contact you immediately, and seek veterinary care if needed, following your instructions wherever possible.

When pet sitting, I aim to keep pets company as much as possible and will discuss their routine with you beforehand. I generally won't leave pets alone for more than 3–4 hours at a time, unless you've let me know they're comfortable with longer periods. Every pet is different, so I adapt my care to suit their personality, whether they're energetic, elderly, nervous, or need a little extra patience. I also reinforce any basic training or routines you're already using to help your pet feel comfortable and maintain consistency while you're away.
