Thanks for viewing me, a semi-retired former geologist now doing a few odd jobs 😁.

I have done a lot of petsitting through other sites and love it, so now decided to make it a paying hobby. I have sat cats,dogs,chucks,doves,ducks,horses, sheep,[link hidden] and fish. My home experiences of animals were cats and dogs and had a cat up until 12 years back when Murphy (cat) sadly passed.I have found looking after other people's pets to be so beneficial to me and I love being out and about so dogs are guaranteed all the walks they need. Having had cats I am adept at playtime with them too !

Character-wise I am a positive,outgoing sort and get on welll both with people and pets ! I travelled quite a lot with various jobs and hols worldwide and have seen a lot of the UK which I love.I am a capable house owner and have looked after houses and apartments - location/ambience are key.

Pets welfare comes first and foremost so I always seek comprehensive instruction and your pets preferences/routines which helps keep them happy whilst you enjoy your breaks - a few treats also help !! Further to this if housesittting involved then basic knowledge of your dwellings essentials.

I am happy to travel for sits when I agree travel costs on a sit by sit basis and am happy to discuss fees in detail as required.So far I have done house/pet sits in UK,Spain,Australia and Germany.

"Local" sits are within 3mls of Cheltenham , after which travel costs added.

Timewise I now spend more time in Germany visiting grandson, and have a few volunteering roles I engage in.
