My name is Ayaana, which means beautiful flower and innocence.

Caring for dogs brings me immense joy and fulfilment, as their loyalty and energy create an enriching bond. I have experience across several areas:

• Walk dogs daily, adjusting routes and pace to suit their energy and temperament.
• Feed and hydrate them, paying careful attention to dietary needs and routines.
• Bathe and brush coats to keep dogs clean, healthy, and comfortable.
• Play and exercise with activities such as fetch, tug-of-war, and park runs.
• Provide emotional care by maintaining routines and offering affection to build trust and security.

I recently made a bold move from Toronto, Ontario, to the United Kingdom in search of new opportunities and experiences. I left my beloved German shepherd-border collie mix, Sukhi, in my mother’s care back home. I miss my furry friend dearly, but I look forward to meeting new dogs and their owners in our lively, welcoming community.

Alongside my animal care experience, I hold an honours bachelor's degree in human rights and human diversity from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada, where I graduated with distinction, and a Master of Laws (LL.M) specialising in human rights law from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. I am currently preparing for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) to strengthen my legal credentials and pursue a career as a solicitor.
