I’m Soph, an 18 year old animal lover with a lifetime of hands on experience. Growing up surrounded by everything from dogs and cats to iguanas, parrots, and horses, I’ve learned that every animal has a unique personality. Whether you have a high-energy dog who needs a long walk or a shy cat who needs a gentle, patient presence, I adapt my care to fit your pet’s specific needs.

• Services & House Sitting: I offer house sitting (keeping your pets safe and comfortable in their own home), customized walks (typically 30–60 minutes, tailored to your pet's energy level), feeding, drop-in visits, and playtime. I’m comfortable managing different temperaments, from the most playful to the most timid, and I’m always patient when helping them settle in.

• Medication & Emergency Preparedness: I am comfortable administering basic medications, in their food or treats, I haven't helped my mum worm/ Flea treatment for dogs, cats, horses and poultry. In the rare case of an emergency, I stay calm, contact you immediately, and take your pet straight to your preferred vet or the nearest emergency clinic. Last year my dad's dog Amber, ate something on a walk and ended up being poisoned. As soon as I had realised I checked to see if she was dehydrated, by pinching skin and seeing how quickly it returned, I checked her gums for, discolouration if they are paler it could've ment she was bleeding internally and the smell of her gums to check for a bad odour. Following this we then rushed her to an emergency clinic where she was treated.

• Communication & Peace of Mind: I know how important your pets are to you! I send regular photo and video updates throughout the day so you always know they are happy, safe, and well-cared for.

• Personalised & Patient Care: I observe and listen to your pet to make sure they feel comfortable. I’m experienced with all temperaments, from playful to timid, and safety is always my #1 priority.

• Daily Routine and Managing Bookings: When house sitting, your pet is my main priority. Dogs are never left alone for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time, ensuring they stick to their normal potty and feeding schedule. I manage my bookings carefully with clear calendar gaps, so I never double book or rush visits, giving every pet my full, focused attention.

Training Experience & Approach

• Positive Reinforcement: My approach centers on patience, consistency, and clear communication focusing on rewarding good behavior rather than using fear or force.

• Puppies: Experienced with house training basics, crate routine support, establishing leash manners, and building early socialization skills.

• Rescue Dogs & Reactivity: Experienced in working with rescue dogs that need a gentle touch. I focus on building confidence, managing triggers, reading subtle body language, and giving them the quiet space they need to decompress.

• Equine Background: Having trained horses, I’ve developed deep spatial awareness, patience, and precise timing, skills that translate directly into keeping calm and in control with dogs of all sizes and energy levels.

Availability: I have flexible daily availability across weekdays and weekends for drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays.
