Hi, I'm Geri. I'm a work-from-home software engineer. I started petsitting as a stopgap because my landlord didn't allow pets and I can't live my life without them. I have since moved and adopted Beni, who is a Bernese mountain dog. He comes with me everywhere, so we're mainly able to care for other dogs.

I grew up with a multi-pet household going from purebreed dogs through not as purebreeds through hamsters, fish, a turtle to even a bearded dragon. Oh and grandma had a grumpy black cat. I have experience caring for all of them be it a reptile with specific dietary requirements or a Jack Russel/Fox terrier mix with the undefeatable energy. And if I don't know something, I'll ask. In my work I'm commended for being very thorough with attention to detail. I'll apply the same when you tell me about your pet so even if you have a spider, I'm sure we'll get along.

House and pet sitting complements my work perfectly because for it all I need is a laptop and 4g signal. I can be in your pet's usual environment to ensure they don't get anxious.

My dog Beni is very friendly with everyone be it dogs, people or other animals. He's large and sometimes a bit clumsy but he almost never intentionally misbehaves. He's my fluffy gentle giant. He does like to chase other animals, so we'd have to be careful when introducing him to small dogs or cats. In those scenarios, we always just back away at the first sign of unease from your pet, even if Beni doesn't want to yet.
