Having grown up with dogs of all sizes, I have extensive experience with pet sitting, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra care, including medication administration (my own dog had allergies and required regular ear medication which he hated but I could cooperate with his personality to administer it in a fun, distracting way so he didn't notice!) I don't currently have my own dog in Edinburgh and so I have signed up to Pawshake as I am missing the joy and fulfilment that comes with living with dogs! I live in the Stockbridge area so am very familiar with walking dogs round Inverleith Park and water or leith but happy to travel anywhere around the city for you.

My remote work schedule offers considerable flexibility to benefit your pet's routine so I can travel to your home before 9am and stay for a full day/overnights or can pop in throughout the day (please note I do not have a car so would rely on public transport to get to your home). I can commit to continuous companionship throughout the day, ensuring they remain engaged and content. If I am doing a full day or pet sitting I would not leave your pet alone in the house unless confirmed in advance. For a full day, I would usually recommend 2 30-minute walks, one in the morning and one early evening however I will tailor to suit the needs of your dog! Alternatively, I am also available for scheduled visits that include walks and playtime, maintaining their established rhythm. My priority is to provide a reliable and comforting presence, ensuring your dog feels secure and entertained during your absence. Please let me know if you have any questions!
