Hi, I’m a friendly New Zealander who has grown up surrounded by animals, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve spent years walking dogs and pet-sitting back home, and I truly enjoy building trust with each pet and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I am a freelance designer who works from home, so it is a great opportunity for me to get out from behind my desk. My time is flexible, and what a wonderful opportunity to spend time with animals, which is something I genuinely love. 

I’m especially happy to offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting for cats and dogs. Walks can be tailored to your dog’s energy level, whether they need a relaxed stroll or something more active. During pet sitting, I’ll make sure your pet gets attention, company, feeding, and any other routine care they’re used to. I love being outdoors and walking, so energetic dogs are very welcome, and I’m also just as happy spending quiet time with more relaxed pets.

The walks I offer are 30 minutes long, but we can arrange variations if needed. I provide calm, attentive pet sitting for dogs and cats of all temperaments, including reactive or nervous pets. I understand how important it is to respect each animal’s comfort level, so I take a patient, low-stress approach and always move at the pet’s pace.

I am happy to follow your pet’s existing training routines, including feeding schedules, walking habits, commands, crate routines, and any behavior guidelines you’d like me to continue while you’re away. Consistency helps pets feel secure, and I do my best to maintain their normal routine.

Pets are typically not left alone for long periods during sittings. I prioritize providing regular supervision, companionship, and check-ins, and I can adjust my schedule based on each pet’s needs and your preferences.

During walks, I take safety seriously by using secure leashes and harnesses, staying alert to surroundings, avoiding unsafe situations, and keeping a close eye on triggers that may cause stress or reactivity. I aim to make every walk safe, controlled, and comfortable for your pet.

I am happy to send photographic updates throughout the service so that you, as a pet owner, feel like your pet is in good hands.
