I’m Anqi, a postgraduate student living in Edinburgh. I have always loved animals and nature, especially dogs. Spending time with animals makes me feel calm and happy, and I really enjoy building a gentle, trusting relationship with them.

I have cared for different animals before. I raised my own puppy from around 40 days old, so I understand how much patience, attention and routine young pets need. I have also kept small parrots, cared for moths, and even hatched chicks and turtles from eggs successfully. These experiences taught me to be observant, patient and respectful of different animals’ needs, behaviours and life stages.

At the moment I don’t have a pet with me in Edinburgh, so I would be very happy to help care for other people’s pets. I can help with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, basic cleaning and giving owners regular updates. I will always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, walking preferences, safety rules and any special habits.

I’m gentle and patient with animals, and I believe it is important to respect their personality, pace and boundaries rather than forcing them to interact. For safety and hygiene, I prefer to care for vaccinated pets, especially if they come into my home. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable and loved while their owners are away.
