Hi! My name is Katie and I am a friendly, reliable and caring animal lover offering dog walking services. I have grown up around pets my whole life and I currently have two dogs of my own; German Shepherd called Zoe and a Pomeranian called Toby. Having experience with both a large and small breed has helped me understand different personalities, energy levels and walking needs.

I have also minded friends’ and family’s dogs over the years, so I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I offer relaxed walks for older or calmer dogs, as well as longer, more active walks for high-energy dogs who need extra exercise and stimulation. I am also happy to include playtime, basic training reinforcement, and calm lead practice where needed.

Safety is always my priority. I always stay alert on walks and am confident handling unexpected situations such as pulling, barking, nervous behaviour, or meeting other dogs. I use a calm, patient approach and positive reinforcement to help dogs feel secure and settled. I always follow the owner’s preferences around routes, leads and interactions with other dogs.

I will keep owners updated with messages and photos after each walk, and I am happy to follow any routine instructions. I currently work in a school and finish at 3:15pm Monday to Friday (12:30pm on Fridays), so I am available for afternoon, evening and weekend walks.
