I've been passionate about animals from a young age, and since I can remember, I have cared for a wide variety of pets, including rabbits, hamsters, cats, dogs, and chickens. As an adult, before getting my own pets, I frequently helped friends and family by looking after their cats and dogs, sending them regular updates, photo and videos. Sometimes they stay at my home and sometimes I stay at theirs. 

Other owner's pets usually have their own sleeping spot upstairs and I keep their feeding routine as if they were at home. They will get two walks a day and we have a safe garden. 

I will not be leaving other pets at home on their own, although my own dog is happy to stay alone for up to 8 hours. 

I have access to emergency vets within a mile from our home and will always contact the owner in case of an emergency. I am happy to administer medication if necessary.

Currently, I am the owner of a five year old Romanian rescue dog whom we rescued when she was just a puppy. She loves playing in the garden and we go walking in the countryside, love roaming different footpaths in the area, usually about an hour a day and getting extra time at weekends and in the summer evenings. 

In addition to my practical experience, last year I completed a dog behaviour training course at Witney College and have a particular interest in the psychology of rescue dogs.
