I am a reliable, patient, and caring animal lover with hands-on experience looking after a variety of pets, including my own guinea pigs. As the owner of six guinea pigs, I understand the importance of maintaining consistent routines, providing proper nutrition, monitoring health, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for animals. I have particular experience working with shy and nervous pets and know that building trust takes time, calm handling, and respect for each animal’s individual personality. Rather than forcing interaction, I focus on helping animals feel secure and comfortable at their own pace. My experience has taught me how to recognize subtle changes in behaviour that may indicate stress, illness, or discomfort. I am attentive to instructions, dependable with feeding schedules, cleaning, exercise, and enrichment activities, and committed to providing pets with the same level of care and affection they receive from their owners. My goal is always to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while their owner is away.

My visits can last up to one hour and are tailored to meet the individual needs of each pet. During each visit, I can provide fresh food and water, clean feeding areas, administer basic care, and ensure your pet is comfortable and happy. I am happy to spend quality time with pets through play, enrichment activities, grooming where appropriate, and plenty of companionship.

If an emergency happened while I was pet sitting, I would stay calm and make sure the pet was safe. I would contact the owner immediately and follow any instructions they had given me. If the pet was seriously injured or ill, I would take it to the veterinarian or emergency animal clinic as quickly as possible. I would keep the owner updated and make sure the pet received the care it needed.
