Rudi is my short King 👑 He loves having pals over for the day or for sleepovers. 

I have always had dogs in my life from a child to an adult, as a family we had Setters (Irish and Gordon), as an adult I have always had terriers. I have experience with complicated grumpy terriers, chilled ones and the ball mad ones. 

I frequently look after my friend's spicy Chi X JRT (Rudi adores spicy), we have a regular boarder, (Bassett hound x) whose super chill, except when he raids the bin 😆. 

Rudi is a Border X Lakeland Terrier and is incredibly laid back and relaxed, he always welcomes new dogs into his home. 

I have experience with golden oldies as well as those needing meds. 

I work from home 90% of the time and keep my diary upto date. 

A typical stay would be a beach walk early in the morning for on/off lead walking, lots of sniffing/swimming etc followed by home for breakfast, depending on the weather either another lunchtime walk or snoozes and afternoon games with Rudi. 

Your dog's needs will be 100% met and will always keep to your routines. Always lots of updates/pictures and videos. 

Weekends we have time to do longer walks, we often meet up with my friend and her dog, and go off for long and varied walks.

If we've been for a walk and your dog (like my dad's IRS), likes to wallow in the mud it's warm showers with dog shampoo and rubbie-dubbies after, if treats are permitted then a special post bath treat can be enjoyed. 

If your dog isn't quite ready to be off lead and we have a weekend booked I'll book an enclosed paddock with lots of enrichment and recall training (if you want), it's important that dogs get a chance to really sniff and play as much as possible, I don't believe in doing the same walk day in day out, we like variety. 

I own my flat, it's a basement with it's own entrance and a very secure courtyard garden only accessed via the kitchen door. 

Firework season we handle with calming plugs-ins and classical music, your dog will never be left on their own. We will always do a walk in the day because a tired dog is a happy dog in my book. 

We have many beds in this home, as well as bowls & toys. I just ask that you bring your dog's food and instructions for when they eat/any meds or dietary needs.
