Hi, my name is Joann, and I'm currently a university student in Surrey. I would love to be a pet sitter because I LOVE animals since I was little, I enjoy spending time and ensure they feel happy, comfortable and safe at the same time! Being a dog walker and sitter allows me to build up my responsibilities, as I'm committed to take good care of them.

I have previous experience of walking and taking care for both dogs and cats for friends and family, including walking, feeding, playing and keeping them company. I've also volunteered in animal shelters, which has helped me become more confident handling different temperaments and energy levels, from calmer old dogs to more active and playful ones. I calm them down by distracting them with toys and treats, and let them know it's safe. If they are reactive to the other dogs, I'll make sure they don't get hurt and try to take them away and distract them. I understand how important it is to follow routines and make pets feel secure in their environment.

I'm patient, friendly and reliable, and I really enjoy spending with animals! I would treat every pet as if they were my own and I always aim to provide them a warm, positive and caring experience!

I do have lectures everyday, but I can do at least 3 walk per week, and an hour per walk. And I can do pet sitting during weekdays!
